We are debating not even getting off the ship in Nassau. I haven't heard good things about the area or the Fort tour which is really the only thing we have considered doing.

When we did Cozumel on our last cruise the area flipped my girls out - and from everything I have heard Nassau is worse.

I don't want another beach day because we will be at Vero for a week after the cruise. Anyone else thinking about treating Nassau as an ocean day?

I haven't been in Nassau in almost 30 years, so we'll probably just walk around. I usually like to just explore the town during port visits instead of taking an excursion. After a few hours, we return to the ship and enjoy a few hours of quiet aboard a nearly empty ship.

I just wanted to spread the word that I have recently made some fish extenders for friends who are going on a Disney cruise in a few months. They turned out really cute! We already have an F.E from our first cruise--this will be our 3rd cruise--but if anyone needs a fish extender, let me know. I know there are some people on this board who are surprising family with the cruise for Christmas--an FE would make a great gift to go along with the surprise. You could even fill it with cruise-related goodies to get them even more excited!

I am surprising my hubby's family... and trust me, even after 3 newsletters and a timeline for my Disney wedding, they still had no idea where the hell they were supposed to be. A FE exchange would be rocket science to them!
Could you post a pic of the FEs you've made? I have some fabric and a sewing machine (still in the box!) so if I fail I may take you up on the offer!

• 4 days at Vero Beach
• 4 days at Old Key West (renting a car from Key West to port if anyone is interested in ride-sharing - will not be using Disney transportation because on the last trip, we didn't arrive on the ship until 2:45 PM from Beach Club!)
• 5 days Disney Magic
• 1 day Kidani Village (with hopefully a surprise Pirate and Pal cruise from the Contemporary - don't tell my family)

We aren't quite as ambitious. We're doing 4 days at WDW, staying at SSR, following the cruise. DW and DD have to get back to work and that is all the time they can take off. I wanted to do WDW before the cruise but DS's college schedule was too tight so we opted for after the cruise instead.

Its also DD's and DS's first cruise so currently they are more interested in visiting WDW (and now Harry Potter).

Any good recommendations for pre/post cruise accomidations. We are flying from Montana and are going to fly in the Tuesday prior and fly out the day after.
