I didn't see a thread about this yet. Did anybody see this last night? What did you think? I fell asleep before the end so I don't know who got a rose or not. The girls seems a little aggressive and catty. They seem to want that one girl out of there (Kristen?). Andrew seems nice enough but a little shallow, not my taste at all. I liked Aaron but I know a lot of people didn't.

So what do you think, it this year more boring than the other ones.

I wasn't sure about the Bachlorette but I loved the way the guys got to be friends. They didn't seem to mind not getting picked or all seemed to really like Ryan. It's too bad that the girls don't seem to be reacting the same way.

Having Tina Fabulous from our state (and right down the road from us really) is cool. We like to watch to see how she does. Dang can she throw a footbal. And in heels too!

These women are hands down the most offensive and repulsive group of women I have ever had the displeasure of watching. :( They make the women on Joe Millionairre look saintly. All that backstabbing, yuk! I've had the same group of friends since grade school, we all went through dating years together, and not once did any of us act the way these women are acting toward each other.

There is one girl on there with redeeming qualities, and she looks like she might just go over the edge at any moment. Every time I see her (I think her name is Liz) she looks like she is going to cry.

I don't get the attraction to this season's bachelor either. To me, he looks like Wayne Newton, and he is just goofy acting, imo.

Also, one thing I was thinking last night as I was watching - do they give these guys a script to follow, or what? He is saying the exact same things as Aaron was saying. Its surreal, I cannot IMAGINE any guy I know talking the way these two talk.

I must admit I really enjoy it. I love Tina Fabulous! I love her attitude! She always has him guessing! I would say that she is my favorite now. I also like Jen and Liz although I think Liz is just a bit over the top with the emotions.

Kristen to me just doesn't seem real...she seems rather like a gold digger. Just don't like her at all.

I like Tina Fabulous.........she is sarcastic, witty and sure of herself (reminds me of my DD ;) )

Liz is just too emotional. I think she just wants to be in love.
I don't like Christina or Kirsten.
No opinion on the other two.....haven't really gotten to know them well enough.

Now....as a mother....I really like Andrew.
I think he is smart, articulate and sure of himself. A great pressence.
I wish the 27 year olds my DD knows were so "together".

Liz is definitely my favorite. She seems like the most "genuine" person there, although I agree with her being a bit over-emotional. Of all of them, though, she seems to be the one that's most "there for the right reasons."

I was so glad to see irritating Amber aka "Drunk Girl" go. It was interesting -- Andrew, his friends, etc. were all talking about how beautiful she is, but when my DH came into the room while I was watching, and saw her, he said "yikes, she's scary looking!" LOL! I never thought she was that beautiful either -- her eyes are too "beady."

I missed the first half, so I'm not sure what exactly happened to make the other girls think that Kirsten was still hooked on her "ex" boyfriend -- do you think she really is, or were the other girls really just trying to sabotage her? When she was talking to the camera, I thought it was interesting the way she said "you don't know what any of these girls did the day before they came here." To me, that sort of implied that she did something the day before she got there, like maybe she was was "with" her ex. Or am I reading too much into it?

What's the name of the woman who wore the rose choker on her neck? Yuck, I can't stand her. She seems like the biggest gold-digger of all of them. "I just want to be Mrs. Firestone" -- blech. I'm sure she does, but I think it has more to do with the Firestone name than any feelings for Andrew!

I can't decide if I like "Tina Fabulous" or not. Most of the time, I like her, but it really irritates me that she seems to say "I know" every time he says anything about how beautiful she is. She is beautiful, but a little humility would be nice!

One thing last night stuck out for me. It was when Andrew was asking Audree if she could live at his winery since she is a Mormon who doesn't drink. I thought, "wow, I guess this is a slam dunk... pulling you from all your friends and family without any regard because I have to live at the winery..." At least the other bachelors and bachlorette didn't assume that their betrothed would HAVE TO move to their city. It seemed that they'd be open to some negotiation, but not this guy. I don't like Andrew. Plus, for someone who is supposed to be knowledgeable about wine, he didn't seem to want to give a good education to Kirsten on their solo date... swirl, sniff, slurp. Never a mention of why or what she should be looking to smell or taste. Maybe he's all business and lets the vinting to someone else? Nope... don't like him.

I did not like it when he was asking the other girls about Kirsten. Especially when he was asking Tina (from Tennessee) during their one on one time. I would have been mad if we spent our time talking about another girl. Figure it out yourself!

I like Tina (from WI) and Liz. I do not like Christina. Kirsten I am on the fence about. Anne Michelle and Jen seem ok.

Andrew is just ok for me. I think he is good looking, but when he starts talking-yikes!

Couldn't agree more! That Christina chick is seriously psycho! She just rubs me the WRONG way, and the way she went after him about kissing other girls. SHE was the one who asked him to kiss her.

Don't like "Tina Fabulous" at all. She loves herself a bit too much for my taste. Plus, the way she was practically yelling at him for being nervous. DH was watching with me and said if any girl talked like that to him when he was dating she would have been history.

I agree that there is really not one girl in the bunch that I like. But Andrew is growing on me. He looked pretty cute last night.

Did anyone else crack up at the dinner conversation between him and the drunk girl (?Amber). They had the first date at the ice rink.

She said she likes Olive Garden and he says he hates Olive Garden. She says she loves pasta and askes him if he does and he says, yes I like pasta. She then askes if he does not like Italian, he says yes I like Italian I just don't like Olive Garden. I was ROFL! First of all, I just can not picture the heir to the Firestone $$$ eating at OG (does he wait 30 mins with the flashing beeper?) I should say that I really do not care for OG, maybe because here in NY there are so many truly great Italian places to eat that do not compare to OG.
Secondly, this was the worst and most forced dinner convo I have ever heard. I know they edit it for effect, but still, the silences and she did not seem to be able to carry on a convo at all! So funny. I also did not think she was pretty. I was not suprised that she did not get a rose.

That girl with the flower on her neck--yuck! What was up with her complaining about him kissing other girls! Did she not ever see this show before?! Please! That is what this show is about! Hot tubs, kissing, crying, etc.
I fell asleep at the end though. I did not realize it was a 2 hr episode.

LOL!!

I'm not liking Andrew. I think he's cute, but that's about it. Of course, I thought Alex was horrible in looks and personality. I liked Aaron's personality, but not his looks. I basically watch the show to see the girls make fools of themselves. This bunch seems really immature.

I think that the big problem with a show like this is that after the show its a long distance relationship. I think that there are more than one person who is right for you. But you have to find someone who is willing to live in the same city as the one you are in. I think that this was a big part of the show with Aaron. He owned a bank in MO. He wasn't going to move, I think that they made it very apparent in the show.

I think that the same it true of Andrew. He owns a business that is in CA. He's not able to move. I think that if the girls want to be with him they should realize that they will have to move to be closer to him.

Andrew is nice enough, he just reminds me of a lot of prep-school boys that I have met. He just has that rich boy attitude (which is exactly what he is).

I really like Andrew. He is cute and so far seems very nice. As far as the scripted thing goes, I think it is more that they ask them to make it suspenseful than give them a script. It would also be mean if Andrew went in there and said, "This was an easy decision. I didn't have any problem eliminating _____ or ______ ". He kind of has to say they were all wonderful, this was a hard decision, blah, blah, blah. The only thing I don't like is when he keeps asking the girls he is going to get rid of about the others he isn't sure about. That seems kind of low.

I can't decide if I like Tina Fabulous or not. She seems super conceited on one hand but then she does or says something that makes me like her. I just don't know about that one. I also can't decide on Liz. I did like her a lot but now she seems close to a mental breakdown.

I don't like Christina or Kirstin very much. Christina seems and looks much older than Andrew. Kirstin just gives off a vibe that bothers me. At least he got rid of Amber the Lush!! It looked like she was drunk again when she was eating all that stuff at the rose ceremony.

I guess I will just have to root for Jen.

To me, Tina Fabulous seems more the part for him ~ she seems more suited to him. She can play the society wife really well. I can't stand Liz. What is that girls problem ... actually I really don't have a favorite. I guess I like Tina Fabulous the most if I had to choose.

I watched this show for the first time (since the intro) last night. Ugh...

The guy OR the girls don't appeal to me at all! Andrew looks like an EMBRYO in my world, he doesn't even look or talk like a MAN.

The girls are petty and immature, I feel like I took a time machine back to my not-all-that-wonderful 20s.... not a trip I wanted to take! :p

OMG, this bunch is far better suited for a Fox TV program. :p

Was it Christina that was all freaked that he kissed the other girls? What did she expect when she is on this show? That with one kiss Andrew was pledging his love and devotion to her and her alone.

Liz just seems to unstable. Very infatuated but not well suited to be the final one IMO. I actually hope he boots her next to not prolong the agony and hurt if he keeps her around and THEN doesn't select her. I feel sorry for her.

Kirsten is playing it way too much. I think the other women are right on this one. They are all in it for the game but women know when another one is really acting the part to get a man and not being herself or saying things just to rub it in the faces of others (these jewels cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Amber .... nah, nah, nah, nah .... nah, nah, nah, nah .... hey, hey, hey GOOD BYE!!!! The way she left was to be expected.

What was up with Kirsten talking about the price of the jewelry? Totally no class!

I agree, Andrew reminds me of boys at my prep school. And yes, he rubs me the wrong way.

As for the ultimate question, I don't think any of these women will make it to the alter with him. Pretty they may be, but can they fit into his life? He's already set with a career in Northern California. He also has a certain place in society. The woman he chooses will have to fit in - not an easy thing for someone without money or a distinguished family history (just being honest here) to do.
