Alli just happened to still have a film crew with her when she was back at home supposedly working every day. The whole thing just screams fake to me. Seems that whole thing was a setup to position Alli as the next Bachelorette.

Last night's episode was so boring. Does Jake ever reveal anything about his life? We've been watching for weeks and all I know about him is that he is a pilot who likes to kiss and put girls' legs up on his lap.

AND smiles like the JOKER!!

Am I the only one that thinks of that crazy girl on the 'prince' season...you know, the one with the tiaras...whenever I see Vienna???

Yep, she was HYSTERICAL!!! At least we KNEW she was a joke!!

I hope Ali is the next bachelorette! Jake is crazy for not letting her come back... but at the same time, I bet the producers were like "you can't bring her back because that will be too much like Jillian's season"...

You see the bachelor is like a daytime soap opera... You can have similar plot lines but the outcome will always be different!

RS' new column is up. He says TPTB forced Ali to film that spot, but that everyone knew she couldn't come back. It was just done for drama.

Did you see Ali on 'Ellen' this morning? She came across as being pretty dumb. She had hair extentions, was swingin' them all over the place...coy about being the new bachlorette and just plain dumb about her job. She'd stop working again to be the bachlorette but could not stay with Jake....could it be our Ali was looking for some self-promotion?

I think it's ridiculous for them to expect real people to fall in love in this process. I'm guessing he sent the 'right woman' home in the first rose ceremony. For him to keep saying 'I'm falling in love with three women' and then sending Gia, the only stable woman in his group of 3, home...he's a nutcase. Tenley and Vienna are just so immature and inexperienced as well as just dumb. He seems to have some brains but why isn't he using them....maybe he's using the wrong brain.

I don't see Tenley as immature or dumb.

I think he got rid of Gia because there was no connection and she was high maintenance

Funny, I think Tenley is the worst of the two...baby voice, always wanting praise and assurance. I see Vienna as much more 'high maintenance' than Gia. Gia can take care of herself, she has a great job and is worldly. Gia went on their date in cutoffs and a really cut top. Vienna went in a long dress - who wears long dresses??? She had on another long dress last night at the rose ceremony...she's a child playine dress up. 'You have to wear this eye patch. Arghhhh!'

I don't think she could reveal too much about this obviously staged fiasco. Ali is not promoting herself, TPTB are promoting her, she doesn't have that much power!

Yeah - RS' column is actually pretty funny in this regard ... pointing out the editing/staging errors in that little exchange. I hate that they think we are that dumb. Of course, I know about the fakeness of this show and I keep watching, so maybe I AM that dumb.

Ali is so not sincere at all. Tenley is not over her ex and I was surprised she went into the suite. Gia's laugh grated on my nerves....not sure I think he and Vienna will work out though.

Last night I didn't think about the Ali phone call being staged. But, after reading RS and watching the link to the phone call again (you can watch it on RS's site), now I do think it was staged. It was definitely edited, especially when Jake is in the bathroom without his watch then the phone rings and he comes out with the watch on. I didn't notice that last night.

If Ali is the next Bachelorette, that's it for me. I will NOT watch the show. I must keep repeating to myself... If Ali is the next Bachelorette, I will not watch the show...

I hadn't thought much about Vienna's long dress until you mentioned it. I helped my SIL iron her clothes for a trip she took to Aruba last summer. She took a bunch of long dresses like that.

I saw pictures from her trip and both of her cousins who went with her also had long dresses on.

I'd consider them all high maintenance, so if that's the criteria... long dresses on an island... I guess Vienna is high maintenance, too.

Though, I thought those were popular last summer. They were in all the stores.

Yes, they were VERY popular last summer. I would NEVER wear one but I think they're gorgeous.

I'd have to cut about a foot off the bottom just to make it to my ankle!!

I thought he said his parents were coming to the island to meet the girls. Maybe I heard wrong.

I think you get a much better sense of someone when you see where/how they grew up. Meeting the BF's parents in a restaurant isn't the same thing. I hope you're right.
