The Army needs BIL more than we do, I guess!

BIL EMailed this morning to say that the Army "loves the unit sooooo much" that they want to keep them in Iraq until March, which will be a full year.
We pretty much expected this after the news reports this week, but I am angry for his 3 girls ages almost 7, 5 and 3. I know I shouldn't be angry and I am also very proud of him, but darn it all why can't they get these boys HOME!!!!!! I've had it with this stupid occupation. We aren't getting support from anyone else in the world, AGAIN. I just wish sometimes the US would put itself first like the other countries do.
Sorry for the vent. The family is pretty down today.

I'm sorry to hear your BIL will be away longer than the family expected.
And I feel sorry for his children too. It must be hard for all involved.
But I wish him much luck and a safe journey home come March.
And my gratitude goes out to him. And try to keep good thoughts!

I'm so sorry. I can imagine how upset your family is. I think it's okay to be angry, you and your family miss him. I know you are proud of him, but a year is a very long time to be away from loved ones. ((hugs)) to all of you. I wish I had something to say to make it better.
