I'm absolutely an Apprentice addiction - Martha, Donald....don't care....but what's interesting for me this season, is that I *know* who one of the final two are for Martha - my company is one of the final tasks - and I also now *know* how orchestrated it all is....and I still don't care! I'm still addicted.

I am carefully watching the "Under the Radar" phenomenon.....

Was Martha allowed to do allof this stuff while on probation? Or did it tape recently?

I've always wondered the details...it would be nice to know how much they get to spend on tasks, how much time, etc. I mean where do they get the paint from, etc. I always wonder that stuff.

Hey Lisa Loves Pooh -- thanks for the background info. on Alexis. As I mentioned in my post, I didn't know what her background was and I'm glad to be filled in. I would agree that she is def. qualified for the position.

However ... I think I'd rather see someone other than family in her seat. But I prefer her being w/Martha over seeing Melania on Donald's "team". That would make me vomit!!! You know what, though, I'd love to see Martha and Alexis get into a beotch fight on-screen.

It means the contestant who isn't making any waves, quiet, hardly heard from. A lot of times they end up being in the finals. Especially on Survivor.

Just watched the show tonight. I can't ever decide what to watch on Wednesday because America's Next Top Model, this show, and So You Think You Can Dance are all on at the same time...grr..... Then my fiance found out that Martha re-airs on Thursday nights at 11 on CNBC, so I have been avoiding reading this thread for the last 24 hours I really dislike Jim after this episode. He is WAYYYYY too over the top for me. I mean the water set up, and then when they were done talking he like yelled to him 'don't forget your bag, don't forget your bag.' He definitely seems to have some unstable tendencies. He is a little sociopathic.

Yep! I'm really glad that, unlike Donald, Martha steps up to the plate and if there is someone who really deserves to go, she makes it happen. I'm glad she called them all back when she disagreed with the PM's choices. Shawn made some big mistakes,and I felt bad for Dawn.

I agree, only if Shawn hadn't been so over the top 'rude.' If it had just solely been a task related thing then yes, she should have let him bring in the 2 wrong people if he wanted to and then fired him, just like Donald does. However, with the comments that Shawn made, she didn't deserve to stay.

I agree. He brought them in for the wrong reasons. BAD managemant decision. He should have been fired even though Shawn was a jerk.

LoraJ - the task I sat through was taped in June, so it was all done while on probation....I guess she worked around her "alternative work arrangement"....

Not to worry! I only know one of the two - have no clue of who the second one is - and I've signed a confidentiality agreement; my lips are sealed. Believe it or not, haven't even told DH .... not that he cares.

From next week's coming attractions - and learning that one team doesn't even finish the task, I wonder if you can assume (maybe not) that it's Matchstick that doesn't finish because they're down three members.....they're starting to look an awful lot like Survivor: Palau Ulong's tribe.....

While I agree David should have went for that horrible, horrible decision to bring in Marcella and Dawn - glad Shawn went. Wonder if she's gotten that big foot out of her big mouth yet....

Shawn put herself in a hole with her original comments. Then when asked to explain, she just kept digging deeper.

The sales team was pitiful. Bad sales pitches, and no flexibility.

I thought that was what he said!!! My fiance and I were like 'what!?!?' but it was really rainy and windy from the tropical storm and it was kinda loud outside so we didn't hear very clearly and thought maybe it was her saying it to him. Wow, what a piece of work!!!
