Well , I was reading around and seem to read between the lines that some special things happen @ WCC. I have read on these threads some of what happens at 50's Prime Time, but up untill today I had no idea that "stuff" happens @ WCC as well. I have ADRs to WCC so can anyone tell me about their experience...not the food I already have read a ton about that...I mean the antics and atmosphere. Anything I should be "preped" for!

1) It's a secret.
2) Hint
. . . ask for ketchup
. . . ask for water
. . . ask to ride the pony
. . . tell the waiter there is no tip

NOTE: OK, so the last is part of the antics. But, say it and see what happens.

I would definitely make sure to call someone on your cell phone and ask make sure to tell your server your really thirsty! ;)

Someone in my party let the waiter know that I was really thirsty. And believe it or not, I did finish my drink, after drinking my original and refill. I still think you should get a pin if you finish the "thirsty" drink.

Another thing you should do is ask for a Pepsi.

Ok, my son is 7 and always asks for ketchup so do I need to prepare him for something? I just don't want any meltdowns over ketchup! LOL!

I myself am a ketchup lover- DH says I would put it on candy- which is a stretch. All you need to prepare him for is to be really HAPPY with what happens. I have read many threads on this and almost wish some of it was going to be a secret for me..... but DH and kids have no idea what they are in for !! Have an adr in august and I can't wait !!!

Thanks Donna! This is our first dinner at WDW for this trip and I specifically booked it because I heard what fun it is. But then after reading about the ketchup I was worried, as DS loves his ketchup!

Are the antics only at dinner??? We were thinking of breakfast here one day.
We ate their for lunch last Sept and there were so little antics, it was pathetic. I would say stick with dinner if you really want a big "show".

I was really hoping there was going to be a good answer to this question!! I hate secrets!! Plus I wanted to get my dh unsuspectedly ;)

Not to put a damper on this thread, but experiences at WCC vary widely! We have been there with three pre-teen boys and had a hilarous experience that they still talk about 7 years later. But I have also been there on subsequent trips when absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened. I think some servers really put on a show while others don't. Or maybe it depends on the day or time?

Perhaps you can request at check-in to get a "fun" server? Does anyone know?

I just don't want you to go there with really high expectations and be terribly disappointed.

Donna

**************SPOILER ALERT*******************

Okay for those of you who really want to know

1.) Have someone ask for Ketchup- They yell bring the ketchup and next thing you know you are sitting at a table with 100 or so bottles of ketchup on it.

2.) Drink your drink really fast - The server will bring a drink in the biggest size jelly jar mug you have ever seen - you are then given 5 straws and told to get building your own large straw !! :lmao:

3.) Sometimes they make all the men come to the middle of the resturant and then proceed with "I'M a little teapot" !!!! :rotfl2:

4.) They hold pony riding races for the kids.

5.) I have read somewhere that if someone wears a Sea World t-shirt or hat something will be done about it - not sure what :hyper:

As I have read many times : these are all examples.. do not count on having every event done to you, and also it depends on the crowd and server.
Plus other random things have been known to occur !!

It sounds like a blast to me !!!

Breakfast is a bit calmer, and I don't think that they do the Pony Express races, but I could be wrong. When you check-in, just ask for a "fun" server ;) and they'll take care of the rest!

Oh, and if you want to start some fun, make sure that somebody at your table orders a coke to drink with their breakfast .... ::yes::

DH and I have never been here before, but we have ADR's for our December trip. I'm planning on wearing my Sea World hat. :teeth: If something happens, cool - if not, that's ok, too. :)

Make sure to give us an update after the trip ... I would like to know what happens with this one !!

My son made the mistake of dropping his fork and when he asked for a new one...oh yeah that was quite an experience!:rotfl2: He had to stand on the chair and yell to the entire restaurant that he had dropped his fork. One trip our server tied bandanas around our heads with straws sticking out of them. The Grandma in our bunch looked pretty funny! We have gone other times where not much happens. It all depends on your server.:)

:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao: I am soooo glad I booked this place! :rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:
The kids are gonna love it!!! I hope that it is a fun night when we go as the whole point is to have fun and new experiences. I am so gonna try NOT to tell my kids the posibilities but I don't know if I can hold out this info until August when all we all do is read threads so we can have a taste of what we will experience. This is sooo much fun! Why oh why did I not do this before....:confused3
