We had checked out the night before, so we got up & went to AK, the park I look most forward to seeing since it was brand new....the minute we walked into the park, there were a ton of characters there....we spent 1/2 hour getting autographs....Minnie took Lindsay's hand and skipped down the road with her....a magic moment for sure.....this was a park we seemed to have to split up alot for....the age difference in the kids didn't matter too much up to this point.....Lindsay & I saw Pocahontas & her Forest Friends....very cute.....then we went next door to see Lion King.....wonderful....we had some very delicious food at AK.....Chakranadi Chicken in Asia had the best Chicken Satee....chicken in a peanut sauce....my mouth is watering....we also ate at Tusker House & had the best meal.....chicken & these out of this world green beans.....I guess I needed veggies....Boneyard was a hit with my 5 year old & she didn't want to leave it, so my 13 year old & I went to see Tarzan Rocks, one of my favorite shows of the whole trip....we did the safari, Kali River twice (I got drenched), & ITTBAB....
we spent way too much time here & were almost late getting back to the hotel for Tiffany to pick us up....we had to change in the bathroom of the hotel while the limo waited for us....I am sure we looked lovely on the flight home.....one thing is for sure, we wasted no time at all these 5 days....every hour was booked.....
We had great flights home.....went from Orlando to Washington to Buffalo.....Lindsay was soooo exhausted, I had to carry her off each flight....she was sound asleep......
we had the best time......as you can see, we are planning another trip in November.....the disney bug has bitten us....me expecially.....thanks for letting me re-live our wonderful vacation....I hope I helped someone out there like these boards helped me....any questions, feel free to email me......susan
