The Anaheim Hotel?

I’ve done some searching and can’t find much. Has anyone stayed here? Thoughts?

We stayed here before they remodeled (about 6-7 years ago) and said we probably wouldn't stay there again. However, we now have a room booked with them in November since their remodel and the rooms look pretty good. I'll be curious to hear others opinions of it.

We stayed here in March. The remodeling they did was only cosmetic, really. The bathrooms still have older fixtures and you can see the age of the hotel in many areas. That being said, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. The price and proximity helped us to overlook the minor flaws.
Also, Pizza Press (which is attached to the main bldg) is very good and affordable.

We also stayed there years back prior to the remodel. The odd thing to us was how much each room varied in size and layout. It is an easy walk to the park and the popular pizza press moved there. There are nicer places to stay, but at Disney you have to balance location, amenities, and price. This hotel is fairly priced for its location and amenities.

The hotel owners filed plans for a new 4-diamond hotel, which qualified for the room tax rebate.
Anaheim politics may have derailed this new hotel, and the Anabella (same owner) and the new Disney hotel.

Our experience was with this property when it was the Anaheim Plaza. Friends have stayed here since the remodel and new management. We all agree that the best thing about this place is the fact that Pizza Press in on the property. We all love going there. None of us love the hotel. It isn't awful, but there are better, more comfortable places to stay nearby with better management. So we and our friends choose to spend our money elsewhere.

I also stayed there in March and found it clean and comfortable. It's not 5 star , but decent and close to the parks. Also, great big pool if you or your family likes to swim.

We are staying again next month because we got a great deal and had no major complaints.
