I just went onto Disney.com and was looking at the maps for WDW and I saw this. I was confused because American Idol is not owned by Disney but then I remembered that Twilight Zone is also not owned but Disney. But I havent heard of it yet until today. And it is going in place of the Doug show to.

what I took of it was that during the day you audition in front of three judges that work for Disney. If you make it past the first round, they do something to narrow it down to the top 3. I'm guessing that you then sing in front of a LIVE crowd of people in the Studios and the vote? The winner gets an automatic audition for the show, not having to wait in line, but that does not neccesarily mean they will get past the first round.
