I am a Rob/Amber plan--but I am laughing over his need to be so dumb with his comment that resulted in the "stupid" teams having a 2 hour lead.

Priceless---now this is the kind of "gotcha" I can enjoy when Rob's head gets a little too full. Way to go Uchenna/Joyce and Gretchen/Meredith.

Kelly is sure trying to get Ron to commit. His response to her saying he left his commitment to the army early had me rolling. When he says he isn't ready for marriage or kids, I think he should add again. Alot of people don't realize he is divorced and has a daughter.

OK, this is my first post on this thread. I started watching AR late in the game mainly because I couldn't stand Romber, but I now have to say... I'm really annoyed at Gretchen! Does she have to moan about every single thing, I just wish she would SHUT UP just once! Yak...yak...yak...

Can not stand Ron & Kelly (more so Kelly). Her comment was very uncalled for.

Gretchen & Meredith, wondering why Gretchen did the climbing? I thought Meredith would be better at it.
Gretchen sure can have an annoying voice but boy does she have some determation. Good for them for getting in second, makes it even better they are in front of Rob & Amber!

They left at 11:24, Rob & Amber and Ron & Kelly at 11:26, and M&G at 11:33. I was surprised everyone was so close! I thought for sure that they edited it to look like U&J had the other teams hot on their tail, but for once it played out like they showed it!

People keep commenting on this and it kind of upsets me. They are 20-40 years older than the people on the other teams. It's a lot harder for them. Yes, her voice can get annoying, but I commend them so much for what they have been able to do and still be respectful to each other. I'll take the whining over calling people stupid and saying that someone chose to be a POW any day

Whoo-Hoo! I am so glad G & M didn't lose all their stuff in non-elem. I was literally jumping up and down watching her climb the rope ladder and knowing TTWSNBN was going to show up any second!!! Talk about exciting.

And can you believe how close they all arrived on the last leg. Joyce shaved her head for a "2" minute lead. Yikes

I am a huge Rob and Amber fan and even i was laughing at Rob tonight. Perhaps this will be a blessing in disguise and he will not be so bold in thr future. He is definately the reason the other teams found an earlier flight.

I was thinking the same thing. How does that happen? I only remember there ever being one time where the team with the fast foward barely beat everyone and that was season one with Team Guido and it was only because they took their time getting to the pit stop. Uchenna and Joyce did not look like they were taking their time, so I'm surprised about the short lead. Did they get lost or was the fast forward a ways away? Does anyone know?

Anyway, it doesn't look like Kelly's comment was taken out of context. She definitely put her foot in her mouth and I'm sure will live to regret saying it. I still can't believe she said it and I also can't believe Ron didn't even seem to be too mad about it, unless he's really good at hiding his feelings. I would have gone nuts if that were me.

**editted to add that it's interesting that Ron and Kelly have to start off the leg with nothing. I guess that's to prevent them from asking for money prior to the leg starting, which teams had done in the past.

Gretchen and Meredith DID lose all their stuff when they came in last...that's why they're running around the world carrying plastic bags!

Betcha Kelly will never live down that STUPID comment on leaving the army by being a POW. Unbelievable!

Gretchen's voice is totally annyoing...oh my god, oh my god, oh my god...but I gotta give her credit for climbing that wall. Not very manly of Meredith for letting her do it.

I thought it was hilarious that Rob's comment about the earlier flight backfired on him! A little humility on the side maybe? I still think they're a hoot to watch and I hope they make it all the way.

Uchena and Joyce seem like such a nice couple...I wouldn't mind if they won. They could use the money to adopt a couple of kids from that orphanage.
