The Amazing Race 6...Official Thread

Oh man, I knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread! I'm on the West Coast so it hasn't even started yet. But I couldn't resist, I wanted Jonathan and Victoria gone as much as the rest of you...I just couldn't stand to wait any longer.

I've never seen Phil look happy as a team was arriving to be eliminated. Hehehe.

Kendra grew a heart and all it took was some hyperventilating, go figure. How funny was it that Rebecca/Adam yielded Freddy/Kendra only to have F/K beat them to the pit stop. Ahhhh karma.

It really looked like Phil had to work on not laughing when Jon and Victoria were arriving.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

And really, what was with Jon parading around in his undies??!!

I thought the same thing. He totally had the "non-elim round" look. What a great episode all around. My stomach truly started to feel sick when freddy and kendra were yielded. I was really hoping that someone would yeild J/V. That would have been classic. I'm liking Kendra a lot better now. I think she had quite an experience in Ethiopia. Did you hear her call Jonathan a bad name when Victoria was having her episode? You could hear the second half of it edited out.

I thought I saw J/V with only one donkey, but thought "no the clue clearly stated two". I was so happy when it turned out they did only have one donkey. But, what a jerk is he to ask Adam and Rebecca to Yield the other team, so that he could catch up. I can't believe they did that too. I want them gone next. He's such a whiney little brat. He's got to be missing his mommy--he's going to want to go home soon.

Another west coast lurker-----I just HAD to peek! THANK GOD!! I cannot wait to watch tonight. 1 more hour to go! :flower1: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yeah. Jonathon needed to go. It was only a matter of time before they self destructed. It boils down to the fact that they were eliminated for failing to read the instructions.

hellboy is one of the dumbest people that I have seen. They yielded another team and still finished behind that team.

I really enjoyed this show...the kids were wonderful to watch. Watching Jonathon and Victoria get eliminated was icing on the cake, lol. I'm amazed he didn't throw a hissy fit.

I missed this part of the race. How did it happen that they ended up behind K/F?? I saw the yield, I saw K/F get the yield and the next thing I know K/F are ahead of them. It didn't make any sense to me.

Well I don't know how long the Yield is, but it took Adam a really long time to find the matching medalian. Freddy found it pretty much right away. Just lucky really.

After Adam got the medal he instead of matching it to the medal of one of the worshippers outside the church he went to the monestary.

Yeah, he went FAR away from the church. He went to the Monks. Then he had to double back. By the time he got back, Freddy had already matched his medal.

Hey, you know what I just noticed? I went back to look at a couple of things. When J/V were finished with the hut, they showed them reading the clue. Actually, they showed Jonathan reading the clue and he read "two donkeys". Later when they found out they needed two, Jonathan was blaming Victoria. He said something like "you panicked and didn't read the clue". But, he was the one who actually read the clue and even said "two donkeys". I'm surprised he didnt' do better with the donkeys since he is one.

Maybe that's why he was so subdued, at least compared to his usual ranting. Victoria was the one acting like a fruitcake this time. I'm just glad that they're gone.

Now on to get rid of Adam. What a twit!

Adam has some major issues. I sure hope his mommy is watching and realizes he needs some serious therapy. What a psycho!

Yes!

Now I can enjoy the show without listening to Jonathan and Victoria scream at each other. I am taping tomorrow's Early Show so I can see what J/V say.

Adam is so whiny. Maybe he will be next to go.

I loved seeing how helpful and friendly the kids in Ethiopia were. Now if people could figure out how to say Addis Abba. :)

Well, it was PURE happiness in this house when we figured out that J/V were leaving tonight. Just as soon as I saw that they only had one donkey, I just had the biggest smile on my face. I was like, they are leaving TONIGHT!! I was really hoping that they would get all the way to the guy they had to get the donkeys to and be told that they had to have two... not one. But they figured it out just before then. So then I was hoping they they would have the Yield used against the them, that would have been just perfect! But no it was not ment to be. But they came in last, I'm still happy. It will be wonderful not hearing her whining and his yelling any more.

I think it would have been fun to see everyone at the pit stop after they figured out that J/V had come in last. You know they were having a BIG celebration! The stress team is gone!

I haven't cared for Adam from the start, but I have to say Lori came down a notch or two w/tonight's episode. She was so rude when she was trying to match the medallion. Still think Kendra is a stuck-up snob (even though she was a tad nicer to the locals).
