Ok,
I'm stocked with Dramamin, Bronine, Seabands, TONS 'O SUNSCREEN...but now I need the sea safe...Joanne at the perfect gift to the rescue...
I called and said I'd order a basket if she could get me some of that Sea Safe from Ron Jon's ...
She said it probably wouldn't be a problem..
So for all you people who forgot your Sea Safe (for Sea Lice) Here's an expensive, but fun way to get some..plus I ordered pail/shovel for DD (2) so I won't have to schlep that with us!!!
For those camel people like me...she also will deliver bottled water!!

What a great way to kill to birds with one stone, as the saying goes. You get a great gift for your son and don't have to worry about little jellyfishes getting in your suit:D
Have a great trip, and congratulations on your pregnancy!!!
370 days and counting everyone of them:p

PS...Joanne did get us the Sea Safe! Plus some fun stuff for Emily and Dean and bottled water too!!

My question is: Just how many cases (confirmed) of Sea Lice have been reported in recent weeks? I don't want to buy the stuff if it's not necessary but on the other hand I don't want to get those little critters either. I've been snorkeling before in the Caribbean in May and in September and I never knew about this things until I found this board. This must be an East coast thing since I live on the West coast. I called several of our local diving shops to ask if they carried Safe Sea and they all replied "What"? They've never even heard of Safe Sea let along Sea Lice. Go figure!!

I think it's a great idea and I'll be sure to include it in our baskets. In Aug last year I saw several people at Castaway Cay who were stung by sea lice. They seemed very uncomfortable-better safe than sorry.

Went on cruise May of 2000 and was hit.
I am NOT allergic to ANYTHING except obviously sea lice.
Many people don't report this or don't know about it because it takes on the same characteristics as an awful, stinging, burning sunburn. If you have immediate, and I mean immediate access to a fresh water shower, it is not as bad.
I guess, all that said, I will never leave without it. We are going in October and even though it is not "official" sea lice season, we will definitely have it with us.

Just my 2-cents
