To all my disboards friends, please keep my DH in your thoughts and prayers. He is in the hospital for the second time since we planned our upcoming trip to AKL for December. Test results in the next week or two will tell if we have to cancel our trip. I've been off the boards the last four days since he was rushed to the hospital.

Will keep your husband in my thoughts....Pixie dust to you both:grouphug:

They've listened... and the pargo (golf cart)/van service between Jambo House and Kidani Village, starting today, is a full day service. From 7:30am to 9:00pm.

If you don't see the pargo/van outside in the front drive, ask the Valet for assistance and they can call the pargo/van over for you.

Good news! Thanks for the info!

We returned last week--family of 6 at Kidani- and even the 20+crowd was tired of the walk after so much walking in the parks all day. This will really help!:cool1:

I just made our reservation for pre-cruise and choose Kidani because I didn't know the difference between the two. Can anyone tell me which is the better one to stay at (in case I decide to switch) and which has the better views of the animals (I did get a Savannah view).

Yes, Kidani is newer, but, the Jambo rooms are also quite new. Is it possible you are comparing AKV Kidani to AKL Jambo rather than to AKV Jambo?

I'm not really sure, just going based on pics from allearsnet. But the pictures of AKV on the Disney World site look amazing and that is where I want to stay. :thumbsup2 Just wasn't sure if both Kidani and Jambo looked like that and were that new.

Kidani is practically brand new. I don't even know if it has been open for a year or not yet.

Many thanks to sjs 314, atthenna, Mommy 2 mrb, Jenni J, John's mom & hematite 153 for the well wishes for my dh.

He is still in the hospital and under the care of doctors from several different departments as they try to pinpoint the cause of his original symptoms and further investigate new things that have been found incidentally through CT scan. A biopsy was done this afternoon. We're still trying to remain positive about our planned trip to WDW in December. We were really looking forward to our first stay at AKL. We love Boma and the theme and looks of AKL.

Thanks for the update, still sending pixie dust and good thoughts:grouphug:

Keeping a positive attitude is such an important aspect of the healing process and having that trip to look forward to in December I am sure will give DH the added strengh to conquor this aliment and be back to his old self soon. Will continue to say a prayer for DH.

You are still in our prayers Kathy....you take care of yourself too! Pixie Dust that your DH is okay and that you will be able to go on your trip!
:goodvibes

Ditto sjs314. Positive thoughts go a long way. Lots of Pixie Dust and positive thoughts are floating your way!

Thinking good thoughts for your husband KathyZ..

We are staying at AKLV for the first time next week! Does anyone know if there are any wi-fi hotspots in the common areas?
Thanks!
