Does anyone know what the slide rules are? Specifically if two people can slide at one time or the height requirements? We are going next week and I don't want to hype up the water slide to my four year old if she can't go on it.

I don't know that there is a height requirement but I know you can't slide down two at a time. You can have one parent behind her and one at the bottom of the slide waiting for her to come down.

There are no height requirements.

Since there are no height requirements, we'll probably do the one parent on ether side suggestion. Thanks

Anybody put dole whip in your refillable mugs? Probably not allowed I'm guessing..

And you'd have guessed right. :thumbsup2 Besides, putting a bunch of dole whip in a refillable mug is no real challenge. Piling it on really high in the cup you pay for to get the dole whip is the real challenge. :lmao:

:rotfl: I think that my DH won that challenge! :rotfl2:

My 4.5 year old did it last year.... he is a shorty too. The one thing he had a problem with is that he is very light. He flipped around alot and I thought he might get hurt. I banned him for awhile but then let him back on telling him to keep his feet straight while sliding down (like the water parks) this worked better! He loved it! The first time will be a bit scary for them as it is a covered slide but once they do it they love it! My 8 year old had a blast too! Oh and you can put a life jacket on them as the will go under the water!
Have lots of fun!!!

I leave on Thursday for the poly. I've never stayed there, just hung out over there in the 80's. Found the poly picture thread to help pacify me, but I find that it is only adding to my anticipation.

I know you will have a great time! Let us know about your stay when you get back.

After months of planning, we're almost on our way. Our train leaves in about 3 hours. We've ordered in room deliveries, a birthday cake for my daughter, and are so ready to see the Poly tomorrow.

Congrats, Mouseturtle - enjoy your trip. I'm jealous you're leaving so soon :), although I'm not a big fan of hot and humid, so it's best we're not going back for a while.
This morning as I dropped her off at pre-school, my 4 year old saw the bus from the red cross set up for blood donations. She said "mommy, that's the bus that will take us to the Hoop-de-doo." I said, "no - that's a different bus. I don't think you want to get on that bus." I'd say she's anxious to get back to WDW.

Uh - oh, is it THAT hot and humid now? I'm already planning my second trip (even before my first one has started, haha) when do you suggest the best time to go?

Hey all, so now the DD First Communion has past us we are now in full planning mode.

We decided to do the Wildlife excursion that is offered to CL guests. We have not been to DAK yet so I think this will be the a great addition to our trip!

We also are planning on two MNSSHP. We will buy tickets for the 9/22 party and then keep the eve of the 25th free, and if tickets are available while we are there we will go a second time. We did this for the MVMCP party and it was great!

Now just waiting for Sept hours so I can get our requests to the IPO. One month to wait for those!

Keep your trip resports coming :thumbsup2 It keeps me going!

We've done the Sunrise Safari offered to AKL CL guests and enjoyed it very much. I bet you won't be disappointed with the Wildlife Excursion.
We are going to the MNSSHP on the 22nd,too. BOO TO YOU!!!

We're leaving Thurs. for the Poly too! We'll see you there!:woohoo:

Great pictures and information on the Poly. My friend and I are bringing my mom (her first time to WDW) to the Poly in a few weeks for a 5 night stay and can't wait to get there after looking at all the great pictures.

We were at WDW in September and stayed at CSR so excited for the change and to be on the monorail. We also went to the Poly to check it out and had dinner at the Kona at the Poly and had a great dinner.

Hi....

I am staying one night at the Poly the end of this month. Does anyone know if the pool bathroom has a shower? We wanted to just hang by the pool before we have to leave for the airport on our last day.

thanks!

Well, it's still early in May, I think it would be in the upper 80's lower 90's maybe. I don't have much tolerance for the heat, though. I live fairly close to Lebanon - just across the river from Harrisburg. Let's just say that last weekend and the beginning of this week were misery.
We went to WDW the first week in December and it was around 60 or so the time. My husband will only go there at that time now.
You should still have a great time, though!
