Can anyone tell me what the largest rooms at the Poly are? We have a group of 13 and are looking for next year. I have a special needs nephew in a wheelchair, so the monorail would be great for us.

Ok may be a silly question but... What is the online check in? Is it a computer terminal at the resort that you self check in? Is this done at arrival? What info do you need? Is a CM available to answer questions? Thanks for any insight you can give me!

I have not done it yet, but I believe 10 days before your trip you actually check-in for the resort via your computer.

On line check in is something you do at home before going to disney. You can check in up to 10 days before arrival. Go to the my disney vacation link on the disney home page to do this. You will enter a credit card and some other information. Then when you arrive at the resort there will be a separate line to go to check in. There will be a CM working there and they will give you all of your resort information. It could speed up the process, depending on whether there is a big line at the regular check in. I may find out how it works in a few days.

Can anyone tell me what the largest rooms at the Poly are? We have a group of 13 and are looking for next year. I have a special needs nephew in a wheelchair, so the monorail would be great for us.

Tokelau, Tahiti and Rapa Nui have the largest rooms at 476 sq. ft. Many of the accessible rooms are located in Rapa Nui. Our daughter is in a wheelchair too and we've been in that building many times. It's very convenient to the TTC for the ferry (very easy with a wheelchair), the monorail to Epcot and the express monorail to MK. Or you can walk to the GCH and use the elevator to access the resort monorail by elevator.

When the reservations are made, mention his needs to the CM. They'll help you get a room that suits his needs.

What a blast you will have with 13!!!!

We also hope to going to WDW in September but we'll be staying at BWI.

Anyone know if we can pick up "first timer" buttons for our children at the Poly, or are they only available at Theme Park guest services?

We got our at Pop when we checked in back in October so I would imagine you can get them at the Poly too.

Wow -- it looks like most of you will be here in the next few weeks -- the time flies by at the end.

Brentalex -- we will still be here when you arrive!

As for Soarin' we showed up early at Epcot and they let a set number of us in the park early and let us ride Soarin'! This happened to us once at DCA, too. We were going to skip it today if the crowds were heavy since it is much easier to ride it at DCA, but we really lucked out. We rode to Epcot this morning in the front of the monorail. We have been very lucky on this trip!

Oh -- and we saw Remy today at Chefs de France! He is so adorable! DE was completely surprised. Lunch was great, too, but huge. I shared with DD and we still couldn't finish it all. I'm so glad we got to meet Remy!

mmouse37 & brentalex- Thanks for answering my online check in questions! When you check in on line does it tell you which building you will be in? Wondering if it would be better to have a face to face with a cm about that . Also if you check in before you get there... and for some crazy reason you don't make it (Hurricane etc)... wonder what happens?

I cant believe how close its getting!

I do have a question that someone might be able to help me with, since my TA hasnt emailed me back in a week. We have the 4/3 deal and I was wondering if its possible to upgrade our room category. I tried to call guest serrvices but since its a TA reservation they couldnt help me.

If the room category is available, you should be able to upgrade. You would probably have to pay the difference. But it is true about the TA must make the change. Even though it is your ressie under your name, the TA that booked the ressie owns it and they are the only ones able to make changes. HTH!
