..Another mug question. We are staying club level so we won't need refillable mugs. We have our old Poly refillable mugs from a couple of years ago which we use all the time at home. Do you think it would be okay to bring them with us to use to put our soda in from the lounge to take to the pool, room etc. No intention of getting refills at Captain Cooks , but don't want to encounter the rath of the mug police if we are seen with our old mugs:scared1:

I don't see any reason why you can't use your old mugs to put soda in from the lounge. The mug police can only get you if you are seen getting refills from Captian Cooks.;)

If it were me, I would not do it. Being honest is great and if you feel comfortable with it, do it. You certainly are not in the wrong IMHO. You may get a few stares or even questions about where can I get one of those... I just would not want to deal with the fact of having to explain the honesty...

I cannot imagine why in the world you could not/should not do this! It's your vacation. If you want to save a few trees ;) by taking your drinks back to the room or out to the pool in your favorite Disney mugs, then go for it

Does anyone know if we can take the resort towels to the waterparks or is it better if we pack our own? I am trying to save luggage space since the airline is charging us $15 a bag. Towels take up a lot of space!

I always pack a beach bag in my luggage and take the resort pool towels to the water parks. I don't have room to lug my personal towels and I refuse to pay to "rent" towels. We return the towels at the end of the day and properly place them in the towel returns. :thumbsup2

Just remember: The sodas in the lounge are not "fountain style". There's basically a refrigerator that you grab sodas out of. We always grab a handful of sodas and throw 'em in our pool bag on the way to the pool. Easier and more convenient that having to open each soda and pour it into your "old" mugs I would think.

My wife wanted me to ask if there is a smoking area located in the Hawaii building where we are staying next week? If yes, where is it located? If not, what is closest spot?
Thanks.

Great! Thanks. We'll do the same.

Smoking is not allowed in any building at WDW. There are designated spots outside. When you check in, you'll receive a map and those spots are marked on it. Have fun!

May 2011 will be here before you know it. :cheer2:Welcome to the thread and have fun planning!:surfweb:

Thanks!! Planning is half the fun!!:yay: Now I just need to do lots of reading and decide which longhouse to stay in!!!!!

There is a smoking area just outside the Hawaii building at the quiet pool. It is a small bench sitting next to the poolhouse. There is another at the volcano pool as you walk toward the GCH. This is an upper level patio and there are two umbrella tables in the area.

If she's looking for a place out of the weather, the second floor of Samoa has a covered patio area as does Figi. Figi is a pretty far walk from Hawaii though. There is also an area on the second floor Niue/Rarotonga deck walkway between the buildings.

As BCV said, you will get a map and they are pretty well defined, but those I've listed are fairly close to Hawaii.

While I don't see a problem if you wanted to do that, wouldn't you rather take the paper cups from the lounge and poor your drinks into there? This way you your mugs won't be taking up any extra space in your luggage.

We just received our package from Disney with all of our tickets.:goodvibes Less then one month left.
I have one question. There are four of us going. Disney only sent us three luggage tags. Is this normal?:confused3

:)Thanks.I think in the end, space may win out and we will leave them at home. I see how it goes as I am packing.
