I wasn't home this weekend so I just read through everyone's posts and made the changes to ADRS. Everyone has been updated. :thumbsup2

Anjalee, your packing list is great! I wanted to add something for those that might be staying in the villas or staying long enough to need laundry services. Purex 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets. They're great for vacation. They come in a slim box small enough to put in your luggage.

Great idea. Thanks for the addition. I added it to the list on page 161.

We didn't know that the laundry rooms wouldn't have dryer sheets so we took some with us on the cruise in March. I've used them before in my suitcases just to keep everything smelling fresh and also in the dirty clothes sack so that they didn't smell up anything else I might have to put in with them.

Anjalee,
I just realized some of my other ADRs are missing. Someday, I'll be done with adding things!!!:rotfl:

It was a busy weekend. My Mother's Day gift to eeyore344 was to cook dinner Saturday night, then I spent most of yesterday working on an afghan for someone I thought I'd have finished a month ago. It's one of those where you make a ton of small pieces then stitch them together. I had no idea it would take so long to stitch. It's going to be really neat when I finish (and you'd think it'd be for a DISer, since it's all lime green), but now, I'm only halfway through. My goal is to work like crazy on it this week, and hopefully be finished by this time next week. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

I am thrilled because we are now at the point of no return: 45 days! Woo! I have 14 days (including today) left with students -- we're out of school on May 26th.

On this trip will you...

1) eat at least one character meal? Hmm...DO we have a character meal planned? Oh, oh, right...1900 Park Faire. And Chefs de France...if that counts with Remy... (How awful that I had to check the ADR list!)

2) eat at least one TS each day? All but one, I believe.

3) See Fantasmic? Hope to!
See Wishes? Probably!
See Illuminations? Hope to! (Never seen it at all...we've never been in HS that late....)

4) go to all 4 parks? Absolutely! (although we haven't the last two trips.)

5) do rope drop? (Where?) Maybe...we'll be in MK @ 8 one day.

6) do AM EMH? Probably....

7) do PM EMH? Definitely....

Have you....

1) ever taken a ride in the front of the monorail (when it was still allowed)?
Yes. I think I was 8. I'm sad that my DD won't have that experience, but I understand why. Sadly, we were there the week or so before the accident and tried to ride in the front, but just couldn't for the next 5 monorail trains to go through so we could have a turn.

2) been on each and every ride at Disney at least once? (doesn't have to be in one trip) Nope. Maybe that's what we need to do...make a list of must-dos, then of never-dones....

3) seen every show at Disney at least once? (doesnt have to be in one trip)
Nope....but, again...maybe that list of never-dones....start checking them off...

4) found a paint brush on Tom Sawyer's Island? I can't even remember the last time I went to Tom Sawyer's Island....

5) stayed in all 3-resort categories (value, moderate, deluxe or villa)? No values yet.

6) ever cooked a disney recipe at home? I made the Canadian Beer Cheese Soup one year.

7) ever been surprised with a Disney trip? No...but I'm usually the driving force behind us going. Maybe one day I'll get to surprise the DD with a trip. Just have to learn to shut up about it. Or maybe she just needs to stop assuming we're going....since she's usually right....

8) made a spreadsheet/binder/etc with all your plans, ADRS, and such? Yes. Not this trip, but I'm not in charge of everything this trip. And should also note that we still manage to not remember when/where things are. This year...everything will go in the blackberry....

I found them in a 2-pack in the travel section of our Wal-Mart so I didn't have to buy an entrire box of them

you also might try googling sample products. It's been a while, but I got a sample of just 1 sheet that I put aside to travel with and haven't used it yet, and since I only plan on doing 1 load of laundry, it'll work perfect! :)

I have a few things on my packing list that isn't on yours. May not apply to everyone, but I figured I'd post in case it could help someone :goodvibes

bobby pins
jewelry
tampons/feminine products (you just never know!)
blow dryer- I've read that the resorts have one, but they aren't that great?
straightener
mister fan
safety pins
bug spray
aloe
batteries (our camera takes AA)
ipod/fm transmitter (for the car ride)
portable dvd player/dvds (for the car ride)
beach bag (for pool trips... I have a small backpack I got from American Eagle that packs up really small)
allergy meds
spray neosporin (for scrapped up knees, it's small and portable and you don't have to get your fingers all messy!)
wet ones (the wipes)
Tide to go pen
reusable water bottle
small bills (for tips and tolls)
small towel (to wipe down seats after rain)
scissors
power strip
glow sticks (so you don't have to buy the overpriced ones!)
plastic fork/spoon/knife (for leftovers in the room)
plastic drink lids (put a popsicle stick through the straw hole and it'll catch the drips!)

for those w/ young kids-
diapers
wipes
bedtime supplies- stuffed animals/blankies
nightlight
princess dresses for CRT
detangler spray
sippy cups
dish soap (to clean sippy cups... or refillable resort mugs)
floaties/water wings
medicine dropper (for liquid medicines)

I know that's a lot. We drive so we don't have to pack light ;) Some of that stuff is important though :)
