I'm usually so active on the boards months ahead of our trip but it just didn't happen this time, with schedules for work and school and running with my kids!

We're doing a girls' trip for my daughter's HS graduation, arriving May 30 through June 3. I offered to take her on a girls only vacation for her present, offering cruises, beach, CA - her pick. She said - since it's just going to be us (DS5 won't be going), can we go to Disney and do stuff that we can't do while he's with us? Didn't take much convincing for me to say ok.

We're staying @ POFQ. This will be our first time there - we've stayed 2x previously at POP and loved it, but we wanted to do something a little nicer to celebrate the occasion.

Got it! No problem. It's been changed. I changed ADRs myself this morning. I then promptly printed everything out. Now that it's printed out. I am telling myself it's official and can not be changed. Lol. That way I can't change it anymore.

I had the same issue with it being a link not image and generally messing up my sig until I took the url] brackets off of my count down thinggy. once I did that, I could use the img tag correctly. But I am currently under the influence of muscle relaxers and I may not be clear on what I mean. Sorry.

DH wanted this trip to be a surprise for DS, but I knew I'd blow it so we told him early. No way could I keep it a secret, he would know something was up when I started listening to my 4 Parks 1 World CD on repeat every day.

I am VERY late for joining this thread, but I thought I would throw my info out there anyway. We have had to cancel 2 WDW trips in the last year, so I didn't want to get too excited about this one. Now we are 6 weeks out, and I don't forecast another cancellation (fingers crossed), so here we go:

We'll be at SOG 13-20 Jun. First time for us at this resort, but the price is definitely right, so we decided to try it.

We haven't been to WDW since Sep 2005! I'm not sure who is more excited right now, me or the kids! We were fortunate to live only a 7-hr drive from Disneyland for the last several years, so we went there annually. But I miss the World, and I cannot wait to get back again!

2) Does your family have any last night or day traditions at WDW?Not really, but I think starting this year it will be dinner at Ohana and finish the night at MK


3) What is one resort in which you are not interested in staying and why?I put staying at every WDW resort on my bucket list. I want to try them all.


4) If you could give one piece of advice to someone planning Disney trip for the first time, what would it be?Realize that you will never be able to do and see everything. Make a list of everyone's top 3 rides and complete those first. Everything else you do will be a bonus!


5) What are three things that you consider "must haves" one you are packing for June WDW trip?Sunscreen, croc sandles, and Sunscreen (I only turn 3 shades in the summer. Red-pink-white)


6) Do you buy photopass? I regretted not getting it last time, so we are definately buying it for this trip


7) How you done any tours and if so, which was the best?No, our kids really aren't old enough yet.


8) Have you ever visited a first aid station while at WDW? No, and knock on wood we never will have to.

9) What is the longest you will wait in line for an attraction?30 mins

10) Have you ever been selected from the audience to be part of a show, parade, etc.? No, but I'm bringing Lady Luck w/me on this trip (aka MIL), so hopefully we will get picked this time.

Yay! I'm sure Mom is getting tired of me asking "HOW many days NOW?"

I'm going to take a moment and re-introduce myself. I've been posting here for a couple of weeks (although not a whole lot and mostly just answering Friday questions...but, still...I'm here!) and I feel like I'm the unpopular kid trying to be popular and everyone overlooks...

My name is Kim. I'm one of the K & K's alluded to in eeyore344's upcoming trip. I'm the DD that she can't get rid of. (Of course I'm the ONLY one...so she shouldn't want to get rid of me anyway.) I think her current Disney addiction is my fault (ask if you want me to elaborate) and I KNOW her DisBoards (and Frontierville) addiction IS my fault. I'm usually the one who joins the trip threads like this, but she beat me to the punch this time, and I just let her ride the train alone.

Now it's getting close, and I want to celebrate with everyone else going!

In case it's the saying that I'm part of eeyore344's touring crew is what's keeping me left out....we're getting there on June 23, staying until July 1st, and going to be at the Caribbean Beach. This will be our second stay at CBR.

Without going through all the pages and pages of this thread, can anyone direct me to the link for the Some Like It Hot logo pic? I'll be making t-shirts next month before we go, and we like (plus, can't we add it to our siggies, too?)

Also...does anyone know if the doors at CBR are metal? I'm making something to take and put on our door (it is so much easier to find the door when there's at least a ribbon on the door handle when it's two AM and you're dragging in....) and have magnetic hooks that can hold it up if the door is metal. I'll post a picture when I'm done!

It just occurred to me that I haven't put us on this list.

We are arriving at BCV on May 28 and leaving June 5. Also planning to venture over to US and IOA for the first time, mainly to check out WWoHP.

For this trip, it will be DH, me, 16 yo ds, 15 yo dd, 13yo ds, dsil, and my dd's BFF. This will be the first trip in a while we won't have our young grandchildren and their parents. It will be a little odd not to have them along!

It's been over a year since our last trip so we are REALLY looking forward to this trip!!

4) If you could give one piece of advice to someone planning Disney trip for the first time, what would it be? "Here's a Passporter. It's my favorite planning guidebook. Use their worksheets and tools to walk you through the planning process. Don't just try to wing it on your first trip there."

6) Do you buy photopass? We pre-order when we plan to spend time at the parks. We don't when we are planning all resort days or non-Disney park days.


7) How you done any tours and if so, which was the best? I've done Wonders of the Lodge (WL) and the Tea Garden tour during F&WF. I enjoyed both. Haven't done any in-park tours.


8) Have you ever visited a first aid station while at WDW? Not that I recall. I did have to visit one once at IOA when I bashed my ankle getting on a ride.

9) What is the longest you will wait in line for an attraction? I'll wait about 40 minutes in a standing line if it's an attraction that I really want to do and it's nearing the end of my time in that specific park. I'll wait longer for an attraction with a seated waiting area.

10) Have you ever been selected from the audience to be part of a show, parade, etc.?
My daughter was selected to dance with characters during a parade. My husband was selected to be in a skit of "A Christmas Carol" with the World Showcase Players. DH and I were invited to be part of a recycling thing at AK and received commemorative pins and a certificate.

I know I am late joining but we were not sure if we were going to actually go on this trip as planned. It was to be the first adults only trip for DBF and I and then two months ago we found out I am pregnant (I will be 17 weeks during the trip). So after much debate DBF decided we should still go.

Our plans:
June 11 to June 16@ Pop Century. This will be the first time we are doing deluxe dinning and now I am so glad we decided to do deluxe.
