See that is what I am HOPING happens. that it turns out fine, and work just fine. Yet, I am afraid I will be more concerned about tyring to make our ADR's to enjoy the time. yet, I know having them is going to be great because we nearly didn't eat last year, because I DIDN'T plan set 'we have to go eat' times. :rotfl:

plus I paid for the dxdp, so I want to EAT! (and I love to Eat!)

I am just second guessing plans now.

I planned a day in DHS with meals (play and dine, sci-fi dine in) yet now, after reading a bunch of trip reports I am re-thinking my lack of epcot.. but we couldn't have THOSE meals, at epcot... I just need someone to drop a few thou in my hand so I can extend out stay ALOT. :lmao:

there is that bit of stress having to get to the ADR but we take the afternoon off AND I tend to make the ADR's late so that we're not rushed at the pool (Ie, kids are swimming and one adult beverage with the dh turns into 3 adult beverages with the DH and everyone is so relaxed that we don't feel like moving) so I did plan for that this time . :lmao: learned that lesson. But really, it's so much better than standing in Fantasyland with everyone pissed off because we don't know where to go for dinner, wandering from place to place trying to find something we all agree on. All the restaurant picking is done at home, in a relaxed environment, and everyone (cue the celestial chorus) agrees.

You're only there for a short trip really. I know - we normally go for 2 weeks, so for us a 7 day trip seems so short. It's hard to whittle down what you really really want most. As it is I left the last night totally open so that we can just pick whatever - eat counter service or try to walk up.

5) What is your favorite Disney trip tip.... (ex. packing tips, park tips, whatever you have to share)
[*]For buffets, ask for your bill with your drink order. That way, when you're finished eating, you can leave (this is a must-do to easily make rope-drop)
[/LIST]

I think that is the best tip I've heard. I told my husband and he wants to know why we never thought of that. lol. Thanks for the great tip. We are going to have to try it this trip especially with our little ones.

just booked wishes Dessert party for june 12 at 9pm. I'm really looking forward to watching the fireworks and trying out the desserts. My husband didn't want to do it, so I'm not gonna tell him until we get there, ;). It's the only late night we will have planned, every other night we can be flexible if the kids decide to crash. We're more morning people so I'm hoping they can make it one late night. The park has EMH that night too so we could stay longer if we want.

By the way, 72 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

You need to let us know how you like it. I really want to try it, but my husband doesn't want to either.

I wanted to share the shirts DD and I made for our trip.....

Hi evryone! Just checkin' in after 5 days of no computer time due to work & kids (we only have one online computer--not counting DH's laptop 'cuz he doesn't share :rotfl:--& 3 teen DDs). The tie-dye shirts are awesome, but I though Mickey heads only came in lime green;)! to PRMama: Congratulations! As to being at WDW while expecting, the most important thing is to avoid dehydration: so drink water continuously & get out of the heat, especially from 12-2. Also in keeping with the stay hydrated advice, avoid NVD (nurse speak for nausea, vomiting, & diarrhea)--it can be hard at buffets but hot food should be hot & cold food should be cold & anything fresh should be washed before eating!:thumbsup2. As for rides, I think anything at WDW that MOVES says "not recommended for pregnant women:/", but I think just avoiding the jerky ones & the coasters would be OK. Anything a baby could ride, you could ride, and of course you get to see all the great shows & eat for two!!

- if you are going in Dec- yes, it does get really really cold in FL! Believe the forecasts and pack layers!!

:thumbsup2 Well it's that time again...yes MORE changes to our trip! I think this is officially revision 3.0 so I'll need to update my pre-trip report again.

:thumbsup2 Finally got around to booking our extra excursions this morning. This of course meant SEVERAL changes to the rest of the schedule...go figure!

:thumbsup2 I booked the Bass Fishing Excursion for my in-laws, DH and my youngest son Noah. They are really looking forward to this. It's a 7am trip so hopefully they can handle that.

Since the other two kids have expressed an interest in NOT doing the fishing...I booked something for them as well. So at 9:30am the same day, those two will head out on one of the Pirate Excursions. I booked my nephew on this as well...just in case he wants to go with them. Not sure SIL will want him to go without her...or want to spend the money...but she doesn't have to decide until the day before anyway. I really wasn't going to worry about doing this since my kids have been on a pirate excursion around here...something similar on the Chesapeake Bay...but I'll let them decide as well. It's the only thing I could think of for them on the same day. :)

This means I cancelled our planned meal for Tusker House this same day. We'll have to try it another time. :sad2:

I had to rearrange the schedule to fit in another Animal Kingdom day since this was our day for that and most of the morning will be taken up by the trips.

Overall I think the schedule works out pretty well. It is here if anybody wants to check it out:

Disney June 2011

Oh and there are several dining changes...I'll have to post my new dining reservation list next!

The mickey tie dye is so cute! I love it!! How did you do it? maybe I can google and find instructions...

another random question- how do you quote more than one post in your reply? I've been playing around trying to figure it out and I'm missing something:confused:

This is my 1st trip since I was a little kid, so my answers are based a lot on my research so far :)

1) What are your top five Disney "Must Do" attractions?
1. Dumbo... this ride *is* Disney for me and we're going with a 20 month old and an almost 3 y/o
2. Toy Story Mania- I've heard so many good things about this ride!
3. Teacups- another super Disney ride that I actually remember from my trips as a little girl :lovestruc
4. Beauty and the Beast- my daughter's favorite movie (right now)
5. a parade. This is on my "must do" list. I don't need to see them all, I just want to see 1 while we're there :lmao:

2) What are your top five Disney "Must Do" restaurants?
(this is ALL based on research ;) )
1. CRT (booked it in November!)
2. Chef Mickey's
3. Pizza Planet (I know it's not suppose to be that great, but it's Pizza Planet! :goodvibes )
4. Main Street Bakery
5. Goofy's Candy Company

3) If you had to live in Disney, which hotel would you live in?
I'm thinking AKL. Safari room view!

4) If I was at Disney right now, I would be eating ....
a dole whip float :upsidedow

5) What is your favorite Disney trip tip.... (ex. packing tips, park tips, whatever you have to share)
use the lid from to go cups (the plastic kind, I plan on bringing some hard plastic ones from kid's cups at places like Chilis) to catch icecream/popsicle drippings. Insert the stick into the spot the straw goes in with the lid upside down. I think that's the most original tip I've read on here!

another random question- how do you quote more than one post in your reply? I've been playing around trying to figure it out and I'm missing something:confused:

I do most of my quotes the old fashion way by hand typing the code, but I *think* you click the mini quote button (the one next to 'quote') on the messages you want together. then hit the quote button on the last one, and they all should show in the posting. but I could be wrong.
:confused3

Now that's really using your noggin! I never thought of doing that, but it makes perfect sense and would speed things along nicely!

I think that is the best tip I've heard. I told my husband and he wants to know why we never thought of that. lol. Thanks for the great tip. We are going to have to try it this trip especially with our little ones.

Yay -- so glad this is a new tip for y'all! I read about it somewhere on the boards on our 1st on-site trip and it's my absolute favorite time-saver. It makes a huge difference with breakfast character buffets; as soon as we see the last character (or even the last one we want to see), we're outta there!

kittylady1972 -- DD6 (then 4) did the Pirate Adventure/Excursion from the Grand Floridian when we visited in Feb of 2010 and absolutely had a blast. We were able to leisurely wander about the GF, shop, have coffee, unwind while she was out there. Worked well for all three of us. :thumbsup2

:confused3

Yes. That is exactly how you multi-quote.
1) Hit the multi-quote button for each quote you want to include then, hit the quote button on the last one you are going to quote and they will all show up in the reply window and then you just reply to each quote.

Time for my official "June Can't Get Here Soon Enough" Happy Dance...

I was totally bummed that others were getting FD and I was having no luck. I tried everything and had even started calling every few days to see if I had a pin. I had just about given up when I tried on Saturday. The CM said that I didn't have a pin and then my voice must have given away my disappointment when she asked me what I was wanting. I explained that I was hoping for FD so that I could upgrade the QS plan to the DxDP and she said let me see what I can do. She quickly came back and told me that was possible and voila - FD in late June!!!

Now my ADR's have completely changed. This seems like a lot of food, but we'll do our best. The girls have their touring plans ready so we hope to maximize park time in addition to our TS ressies.

Once more with the Happy Dance! :cool1:

June 25: Kona Cafe @ 12:55 pm, 'Ohana @ 5:00 pm

June 26: Coral Reef @ 12:15 pm, 1900 Park Fare @ 6:45 pm

June 27: Sci-Fi @ 12:10 pm, Biergarten @ 6:20 pm

June 28: Tusker House @ 8:15 am, Cape May Cafe @ 5:40 pm

June 29: CRT @ 8:25 am, Hoop-Dee-Doo @ 5:00 pm

June 30: Chef Mickey's @ 10:20 am, Crystal Palace @ 5:45 pm

I fixed everything. :thumbsup2 At least you got FD. That is really good. I was wishing for the longest time but I gave up. I even called twice and they said no pins. I just don't have the magic touch I guess. Oh well. I am still going to disney so I guess I can't complain.
