I gotta say, with our new ADR's at Boma, I'm most excited about those zebra domes! Everyone seems to love them!

I hated them. However, there were about 12 other desserts there that I would kill for!!!

I have uploaded a photo from Disney world. Can you tell me where in Disney World the photograph was taken?

Hint Time

I was putting together my list of things that I need to do before our trip. When I got to one of my items I thought I would share it with the June Team. I have had a fire in a house I was living in many years ago, while I was out to dinner. When it came time to talk to the insurance company it was hard to remember all that I had lost in the fire, some things I remembered a year or two later, too late to get my money back. So for the hint! Before I go on vacation each year I walk through the house and take digital photographs of each room, in closets, drawers ... you get the idea. Then I upload them to Dropbox (a free online storage that is password protected). That way if I had a fire, break-in or UFO crash

I could have a better way to tell or prove to the insurance company what I had lost.

Great advice regardless of taking a vacation or not :thumbsup2

We lost everything in a house fire in 1995. I think that the advice you just gave should be the first thing every person is told when they take out an insurance policy be it home owners or renters insurance. In addition you need to take an inventory yearly and keep it on a spreadsheet saved somewhere outside of your home. 3 days after you have lost everything you own is not the time to be trying to remember all of it.

I very clearly remember being handed blank inventory sheets and told that if we wanted to get our interior contents replaced we would need to list them-down to how many pair of socks we owned.

:thumbsup2 That's GREAT advice!!! Thank you!!!

So we decided we're going to tell the kids about our trip on Easter. I'm making easter baskets with a disney theme. Plus we found huge easter eggs & we're going to put a "dw ticket" & "plane ticket" (created by the wonderful DISign team) inside it. I think the kids will really like it. So excited & can't wait to see their reactions! Just wanted to tell somebody :goodvibes

First Aid Kit
db061835.jpg

Do you pack a first aid kit? If you do what do you stock it with?

6ab55ca5.jpg
d4391f32.jpg

sahm2two list includes:

  • wet ones
  • bandaids
  • aloe vera
  • pepto bismol
  • children's tylenol
  • allergy medicine
  • adult tylenol

kittylady1972 list includes:

I don't have quite as elaborate a kit as that...but I always carry a backpack that has the following in it:

  • wet ones...love the new individual ones...no more surprise dried out pack!
  • inhaler (learned this one the hard way on several vacations...DH now keeps on in his car and I have one on me at all time)
  • bandaids
  • children's tylenol & advil
  • allergy medicine (several varieties for kids and adults)
  • adult tylenol & advil & alieve
  • emory board (I hate getting a split nail and not being able to deal with it)

Snowwhite33 list includes:

Don't forget to take stuff for your feet!

  • Mole skin
  • small pair of scissors
  • nail clippers
  • powder
  • Peppermint foot lotion to soothe your feet before bed.

anjalee6 list includes:

We always pack a lot of stuff.
1) Immodium for us and Pepto for the kids
2) nail file and nail clippers
3) Body Glide (my husband swears by this stuff)
4) band aids
5) neosporin
6) Q-tips
7) Tylenol and Advil
8) Ice packs for boo-boos that we can throw in the freezer when we get there
9) Aloe
10) Sun-tan lotion in little tubes
11) tweezers
12)epi-pen (husband allergic to bees)

that's a great first aid kit! Did you take a store bought one and add some of your own stuff? I have a list of stuff to pack.
I'm taking a mini kit into the park with me. I know they have first aid stuff in the park, but if my 2 y/o falls and scraps up her knee I don't want to have to hunt down somewhere to get a bandaid. Much easier to just take stuff out of our backpack and fix her up right there.

here's my list for the 1st aid kit for the trip (for the park has a *):
wet ones*
bandaids*
aloe vera
pepto bismol*
children's tylenol
allergy medicine*
adult tylenol*

anyone else want to share? Am I missing anything?
