In room ideas: give her a bath with a bath bomb (we clean the tub, though ), order a cake or those nice chocolate covered strawberries, have a basket of goodies up there for her bday. Sometimes, just having a room service dinner in her jammies makes my DD feel .

The regular afternoon tea in the Garden View Tea Lounge is very nice. Have you thought about having tea with her while DH is playing golf? Or you could rent a cabana for the afternoon and lounge by the pool in luxury. My DD had a great time shopping at Basin White for about an hour! There are also those little Sea Raycer boats that you can rent at the marina and "drive" all around the 2 lakes there.

I'm jealous about the 15 nights!!!

We actually had a can of Lysol and Clorox wipes delivered with our cases of water from Garden Grocer. I found that suggestion here on the boards and it was a great one. I have reactive asthma, and this was the first trip in years that I didn't end up sick.

I emailed IPO and hopefully they will get back with me. When I made the ADR I was told 1:30-2:30. Chances are they forgot to mention the change to me
I just want to double check to be sure

BC IPO also confirmed the 2:00 start time for me.

We actually had a can of Lysol and Clorox wipes delivered with our cases of water from Garden Grocer. I found that suggestion here on the boards and it was a great one. I have reactive asthma, and this was the first trip in years that I didn't end up sick.

Thanks for the tip, i may have to treat myself to a bath bomb while i am there. I never take baths at home.never have time to soak.

I use a Town Car service that gives me a free market stop before we go to the hotel.
I buy some bleach at the market and bleach the bathtub and the toilet

I will be doing extra bleaching this trip with this swine flu going around

I am a clorox girl
I love their spray cleaner!!! I use all of their products!

My eldest just walked in the house from school... he took one whiff and said if the flu don't kill him the bleach fumes will

I had 14 ADRs to make for 7 people. I got everything including CRT,Chef Mickey's and Cali Grill for 8:00!!!! All my ADRs were within 10 minutes of what I requested. I booked a fishing excursion for my mom and 3 boys at 7. The CM said that they can pick them up at GF and drop them off at CR. We have an ADR at 9:30 for Chef Mickey's. I am not sure if that is true. You know how you can hear one thing from a CM and it can turn out to be false. Anyone know?

Yes, it's true. My DH has done the fishing excursions. They'll drop you off at any marina in the area (GF, CR, POLY or WL). They're mostly concerned with the pick up since payment is due upon arrival. Drop off is not an issue

Congratulations on your reservations.

I don't think you'll have any problem with the fishing excursion drop off. When my DH did it a couple times with our kids, he was picked up and dropped off where he wanted (not MK of course ). I remember too when we did a fireworks cruise, we were picked up at the GF since we had dinner at Narcoossee's first and dropped off at the Polynesian where we were staying.

Paula, the room service menu is usually pretty close to that of the GF Cafe but they are very accommodating if there is something you want that you don't see. Others have reported being able to order things from the other GF restaurants as well.

Paula There is a good variety of things that you can order from PD...just an FYI if you are on the dining plan this does count as 2 TS credits for 1 meal...my 2 favorite things to order are morning coffee...and that french oinion soup!! It really is yummy...

I think that Brook has also had PD from Narcoosees..not sure if you can order from the other GF restaurants and hae it delivered to your room...maybe someone else will know...

I have another question. We are going to celebrate our 11 anniversary at CRT. Can I use Gf Bakery since I am staying there? Do they add a delivery charge? Thanks.

I can't answer the GF bakery question, I know they deliver to GF restaurants but I don't know about MK restaurants, sorry!
