I hope you have a great time and 2 nights is better then 0 nights.

Have a great time!!:cool1:, I would take two nights In july right now:lmao:

I'm hoping this will be the resort my gramma and I stay in. Just waiting for it to be available for May 13th with the PIN I have. Crossing my fingers and toes!

I also ran them through with AK savana view Club about the same price,,,thats awfully tough to pass up:confused3

We stayed at the AKL with savannah view a few years ago. I was not impressed. The savannah was nice, but I would rather have stayed at the WLV.

This August, we are doing a split stay. 5 nights at the treehouse villas and 5 at the Bay Lake Tower. We are excited about both.

I really wanted to stay in the Contemporary so badly!

So where are you staying instead? Why can't you book the CR?

I thought you booked the CR because it was $3 a day cheaper than BWI:rotfl:;)

I'm having the same issue with one night out of 8 (July 30th) not being available at all at the CR, so it looks like we'll stick with our WL/CL reservation - for now. I was seriously considering replacing WL/CL with a Deluxe BC room (which we've never done), but I just can't convince myself to go over to the "darkside." (Yes, I know, they have cookies:laughing:) Anyone want to help convince me?

Aren't splits great? I loved the AKL/SV in August, but three nights was enough. I can't handle being away from a monorail, boat or walkway for longer than that.

We're booked AKL/CL. It's only $25 more per night than a SV room, so it's a relative bargain, but I'd be interested to know what you weren't impressed with it. Thanks.

I agree. We enjoyed the Savannah View and their were enough animals to watch, but did not spend enough time in the room to justify the extra points. Perhaps we would spend more time there for an adults only stay (only 11 more years :rolleyes1).

I really do not like split stays. We've tried a few, but just did not enjoy the pack/ re-pack, so no more split stays. We are staying at BLT in October for the first time and can't wait for our first monorail resort.

I thought I was, but the 13th (12th going into the 13th) is not available. :rotfl: I am praying that it will be eventually. I think the D23 Treasure Hunt thing is what's keeping me from getting it since it seems that a lot of people are doing that.

I'm probably sticking with BWI unless the 13th magically appears to be available with the PIN I have. Crossing my fingers and toes. I was so excited when my gramma said she would be perfectly fine with CR and then to call first thing in the morning to find out I could only book it for the 9th - 12th made me so sad. :sad1: Oh well. Here's to hoping for lots of pixie dust! :wizard:

Well if the Contemporary becomes available then that will be great. However if you end up staying at the Boardwalk Inn I am sure you will enjoy it.

If you are booking a room/tickets package, you might visit the website for MouseFan Travel. I saw them on AllEars travel, and out of curiosity wandered over to their website. Lucky me, I found out that they were offering a group rate for the weekend of the D23 event. Though I'm not participating in that event, I was still able to get a GREAT package rate which extended over into the dates I'm staying before the event starts. Not sure how many days they'll allow you to add on, however. Our room was VERY low (about $211/night for Garden View), plus discounted park tickets. Since it's a group package, they may have rooms still available you can't access from WDW.com.

HOWEVER, b/c it's a group rate, there are a few stipulations that might be a deal breaker for some people:

*Tickets are group tickets, so though discounted, they are nonrefundable once paid for, and expire after a year from purchase even if you don't use them (but they do include a visit to either a water park or DisneyQuest)

*You can't add the dining plan

*Deposit was one nights stay. My trips PIF date is April 1. You can cancel after that, but you lose your deposit and of course the cost of the tickets if you don't use them within the years expiration date.

Not sure if they do have any CR left, and if they do have any left, what room types are available. But it's one heck of a deal if they do. Overall, I think I saved about 50% over the same package booked directly with WDW. :thumbsup2

Question: We will be staying in the Contemporary Garden Wing, I requested 1st floor so we would have the patio to walk out on. Is there a specific Room I should be hopeful to get ;)

Just finished paying off our Disney trip:dance3: Feels great!!! Now...we just have to wait 3 more months. I'm trying to convince DH that we need to add another day to the end of our trip. He really wasn't excited about the CR at first, but he seems to be coming around. He made the comment that it will be sooooo nice to be able to walk to the MK. After he looked at pictures of the CR balconies, he commented on the terrific view he'll have each morning....it's going to be a great trip....can't wait!!!!!
