Yay yay yay! More Alaska photos! Getting off the boat early is a great perk. I love that!
It was such a nice perk. We found out later when we didn't use her once how chaotic the lines can be.
I'm dying at the breakfast place with the 3 raspberries, lol!
Well that was from the buffet so I probably took more and ate them before I took the pic. LOL.
I wish I had tried the whip cream last time we were on NCL. I had no idea! I will definitely make it a point to do next time!
It is soooooo good!
SO cool that you saw the Time Bandit!!
It was cool and I was more excited for Skip. I am glad that I at least got a close up picture.
I'm not able to watch it all the time but I like The Deadliest Catch, all the crew/cast members have grown on me over the years. My DH is a bigger fan, I'll have to show him your pics when he gets home. We really want to go to Alaska. Our most recent plan is to go on the Celebrity Solstice in May. We have looked into Princess too but I really want to try the Solstice.
I know a few of them but most of the time I have to ask Skip who is who. LOL.
Ketchikan does look like a cute little town to walk around in.
it is a very cute town and the best one to walk around in, though Skagway was pretty good too.
I love the colors of the buildings, they make for some great pictures
They really do.
I have never seen The Deadliest Catch. I am not even sure if it is shown in the UK, but it was kind of neat to see one of the boats. I had to smile that Skip showed no interest in jackets and coats at home and was now wondering where his was. I hope he found something suitable.
Corinna
I think it is because on another forum I read one couple is from the UK and they saw one boat docked a few years ago and her husband was all excited.
Yes, Skip does this all the time and this time I wasn't going to fight it and pack a bunch of stuff that doesn't fit.
Hi

I'm totally late to the party but when your TR popped up on the bottom of my screen I jumped onboard. Just finished catching up.
Glad you found me and joined in!
Your Seattle day was too cool. How fantastic that you went to the Chihuly museum. I can't get enough of those photos!!!
It was really a great day. I did so much more than I expected to and really enjoyed the museum.
Your embarkation day, not so cool. You handled it very well though. Glad you were able to get into the vacation mode pretty quickly though.
It was a bit of a draining day, but the rest of the trip did get better and I had to leave the anger behind.
I've only cruised
DCL so it's nice to see all the inside photos. Bummer about the slim offerings at the gift shop
DCL is much prettier in my opinion. But for the price comparison this was really a good deal.
Saw your report pop up on that bottom "feed", and took a look!
Your pictures are AMAZING.
Thanks for joining in!
The decor of your suite looks very Art Deco or Nouveau-ish to me. Also it really reminds me of the concierge category V rooms on Dream!
Yes. I do like the DCL versions better though.
Going the way you were going, the one on the left that you can barely see in your picture is Safeco, the Mariners' baseball field. The one on the right is Century Link Field, which is where the Seahawks play. Just in case you needed more specific info.
Yep, I figured that out when we left the ship and drove by both of them. LOL.
Looks like you were there during the Seafair Fleet Week, so yes, a ship or two was docked.

And that's what the Blue Angels stuff was all about as well.
Yes it was.
Yeah it's in the brown colors they used to have. It's facing the water.
Thats what many have told me. I kind of wish I did at least see it.
Yay Seattle.

I like my town chatty. (OK Seattle isn't my town, but it's close enough) What's weird is that recently some people have said Seattleites are rude and don't smile etc, and I don't know who they are dealing with!
So many people were friendly...of course I could talk to a wall sometimes.
There are two blue ones like that here in Tacoma, on a bridge that goes from downtown to the Chihuly Glass Museum (meaning that it's his museum, and there is glass here...not that it's a museum of HIS stuff necessarily). They look like giant rock candy sticks.
Cool!
LOL, what's there to question?
He didn't believe me that the pilot jumped from one boat to another. LOL.
Ooh I love the miniature setting
I love that setting too. It was fun to play with the settings during the cruise. I had just gotten that camera a few weeks before we sailed so I was still learning it. I am happy I bought it.
