we marched with English torches (flashlights).
Hey, thanks for the education! I didn't know that!
And the marching afterwards sounds great -- with or without real fire!
we marched with English torches (flashlights).
We've never worn costumes before, but other people have done an amazing job dressing up. We usually don't have much time to put on costumes before all the fun starts. This year we're having lunch at the Garden Grill and then we're going to ride the monorail on over to MK.
I know what you mean. We're changing our tickets from Water Parks, Fun, & More + Park Hopper to just plain tickets. We've never used the Park Hopper before b/c we always stay in one park the whole day. Just by changing our tickets, we're saving a little over $400. The tickets for MNSSHP are costing us $200. That leaves us an extra $200. That will at least pay for the gas down there (MAYBE!!!)
It definitely sounds like you enjoy what you do! Thanks for sharing that exciting moment with us.![]()
I actually just did that today (took of the park hopper & water park options) since our electric bill was over $100 more than usual...that darn fuel adjustment killed us! I figured we could add on those options later when we catch back up in our finances.
Just a reminder...you said you don't have a park hopper but that you're going over to MK after lunch for the MNSSHP. Remember you won't be able to get into MK til 4:00 for the party. Not sure what time your lunch is but just wanted point that out.
Our electric bill always just about doubles during the hotter months. We actually have 2 AC units, but only use the older one when it's really hot. Also, since DW had her hysterectomy in November, she says she has to run both AC units b/c of her hot flashes.
The day we go to Epcot/MNSSHP would be the only day we might use the Park Hopper. We have lunch with Chip & Dale at the Garden Grill at 12:00. I figured when we finish lunch (maybe 1:30 ) we would just wander over to World Showcase. DW wanted to go to a place in the France Pavilion and try a Grand Marnier Orange Slush. DW saw Samantha Brown try one on one of her shows so she wants to try one too. I figured I would walk on over to Rose and Crown Pub and get all liquored up myself! After we sobered up a little, we were going to ride the Monorail over to MK. That should put us there around 4:00 or so.
Maybe we should start a Grand Marnier Orange Slush - Samantha Brown Fan Club! All those in attendance, say "HERE" when I call out your name.![]()
I remember seeing the episode of "Roseanne" where Dan goes to the Rose and Crown during their trip to WDW. Ever since then, I've always wanted to try a pint at the Rose and Crown myself.
HERE!
oh, you didn't call my name yet did you?![]()
I don't think I've seen that one. You've still never had that pint? I say now's the time!
Marshay! I can't wait! I will be checking in tomorrow to hear the big news!
Do you have a gut feel?
and my theme song right now is:
"Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya, tomorrow, you're only a day away ..."
Yes, tomorrow is the big reveal ...we won't know sex of baby until 20 weeks but we'll be able to see how many sacs/heartbeats...dum de dum dum .... DUM!!!!
Be ready for the drum roll ...![]()
It's funny, b/c my gut is really more tight and sensitive than when I was preg with my daughter or even the ectopic pregnancy at this nearly 6 week mark...so that makes me wonder about twins...
DH still hoping for one...I'm still thinking twins but our last HCG count, although high was not in the "generally abnormal range for multiples". I just really feel a lot more preggo this time so won't be surprised at twins.
I'll definitely share the news tomorrow -- just hoping/praying that things look normal! That's all that really matters!
If you don't mind my asking... (And, please ignore this post and forgive me if you do...):
You mentioned that your DH is hoping for one. Are you 'kinda hoping for multiples, or are you a bit overwhelmed by the thought?
