We did too. But it wasn't intentional.

No, I suppose not.
That actually makes a lot of sense. But why only a 6 hour and 45 minute shift?! I'd love those!
Oh, no. Our shifts are 8:34 minutes long. We have 34 minutes of overlap. However, in practice, you go home when your relief shows up, so on a typical day you work 8 hours. On a day where your relief is on overtime, you may work 8 hours and 15 minutes.
Other than reading, I'm not sure what the point of the app is.
Don't forget it's not an app anymore. It's just a web page. And it's not designed for small screens.
We rank a little differently, but come pretty close. Also, kinda liking that Euro spelling up there ^^. Is that across the board in Canadaland?
Yes and no. Proper spelling in Canada contains 'ou's like in honour vs honor. But a lot of kids these days use spell check based on American spelling and also see American spelling a lot more.
I do it because I like throwing a curve ball out there.
You and Alison...
two against one. We're right, you're wrong.
Might be helpful. Although this reminds me of the horrible dream I just had: I got lost in San Diego and couldn't find my way back to my car. Awful!!!
Were you in your underwear or naked? Because that would ramp up the "horrible" even more.
Fine. I'll keep my (coco) nutty opinions to myself.
good girl
It literally takes me 2 full days to recover.

I just worked 16 hours in a row (Don't feel bad, I actually prefer that to the short change) starting at 2:45pm yesterday and ended at 6:45am today. Woke up at 2pm (woot! the puppy let me sleep!) and saw a text from work. Back at work by 3pm.
But that's okay too since I had to be in the area tonight anyway to pick up my Dad at the airport around 12:30am. So by the time I'm off work, he should (fingers crossed) be only an hour and a half out.
I slept until 3 PM on my birthday, which ended up being a non-birthday, really.
Been there. Done that. Totally get it.
Went to bed at 9:30. Then just now today woke up at 11:00 and am sooooooo groggy. I'm going to do some DISsing and then I really think I"m going to go back to sleep for a while. I should be doing some homework in prep for the next 3 big days at school, but just can't think clearly.
An hour and a half just ain't gonna cut it.
I've done it, but I don't like it.
What did you get her? Did the girls do anything for her?
Oh, we just do cards on Mom/Dad day. I usually try to get her a nice breakfast or supper, but since I was working evenings, I gave her the choice of croissants (bought) or pancakes. Also got her some chocolates. Usually I get nothing, but I don't do as much as she does, so that's okay.
The girls made her a chocolate cake. Haven't had a chance to try it. They were doing something they'd seen on the interenets. Ruby loves Diet Coke. They took a Devils Food Cake mix and replaced the eggs with a can of Diet Coke. Sounds awful, but... will find out later?
My mommy is on her way (and Dad) to see us! I can't wait to hang out and celebrate all of our birthdays and stuff.
Nice!
I can get rather cranky coming back to a place in dishevelment.
Crap. Yes, ma'am.
I dunno. We have less management breathing down our necks the whole shift. I do like that part.
For a day, I was super excited about a PIN Code that came in the mail. It was for 30% off with my dates on it. I got Brook on it, but she didn't have good news this morning. Apparently, there were no resorts available for my dates? And for AoA there were dates, but not for Little Mermaid, so our total would have been higher.
So a pin code that costs you more money.
Sounds about right...
Because it's Disney. They can do anything they want.
On a completely different note, she did purchase our Mickey's Not Really Very, But Kinda Creepy, Yet Fun Party tickets. Obviously, I'm pretty excited about that.
Cool! But aren't you going to miss your first born even a little?
Now... I have to work on my costume.
oooohhh!!! You'll post pictures, right? Right? Right?
And my graduation cap. I think I've made my final decision on which design to go with- I'll post pictures when I have it assembled.
Good!
