Final Thoughts

This is a great time of year to go to Disney - lines were almost completely nonexistent,
and we got to do many rides more than once. It was chilly and rainy the first couple of
days, but the weather warmed up beautifully and it was also value season, so our trip was
not quite as expensive as it otherwise would have been.

Fastpass is a great thing. We did not need to use it much, but when we did need it, it
saved us valuable time. Take advantage of it!

Do e-night if at all possible - it is a unique experience.

Build in rest time each afternoon - you don’t realize how much you need it until you
don’t have it. We probably didn’t get to see quite as much as we would have without our
afternoon naps, but we were much happier campers and were better able to enjoy what
we did see with the extra rest.

Staying on Disney property and using Disney transportation was a great thing for us. We
will never stay off-site again, mainly because staying at Disney is so convenient.

The CM’s at Disney are what make the magic happen. There were many of them that
made our vacation so outstanding - they are what keep us coming back!

Pin trading is not my thing, but my family really enjoyed it and plan to do more of it
when we go back again. If you like it, go for it!

There were many things that we did not have time to do that we will have to make sure to
do first next trip:

Magic Kingdom - Space Mountain, Liberty Belle Riverboat, Carousel of Progress

Epcot - The American Adventure, boat rides in Mexico and Norway

Disney-MGM Studios - The Little Mermaid show, Catastrophe Canyon and the
Animator’s tour

Animal Kingdom - Pocahontas show, Flights of Wonder show, Maharajah trail, Kali
River Rapids

Downtown Disney - Comedy Club

We never had time to hit the arcade or the pool at the motel - too much else to do!

I also never got to try a turkey leg, a frozen chocolate covered banana or a Mickey ice
cream bar, all of which will be on my list of things to try next trip.

We want to make sure to do the meals we missed this trip - Biergarten, Crystal Palace,
Artist’s Point and O’Hanas - on our next vacation at Disney. I would also like to try
Beaches and Cream, since I have heard such good things about it.

I am going to try to work in the campfire program and seeing the Electric Water Pageant
on our next trip.

Jane and the Pixies are fabulous - use them if you want to do something extra special for
someone you love.

Dreams Unlimited is also fabulous - not only did they get me a discount on this trip, but I
also got all the benefits of their expertise and did not have to make one phone call for any
of the hard to get reservations. I got a great table at Hoop-Dee-Doo, an Illuminations
(Specialty) cruise, and a Cinderella’s Royal Table breakfast reservation with them. They
answered all of my questions quickly and accurately, and helped to make this trip a true
vacation of a life time.

All of us want to go back again, and we will probably try to do so by the end of the year
if possible. If I had known there would be this much enthusiasm for a return trip, I would
have bought AP’s. Oh, well, I’m glad they had such a good time that they want to go
back.

I learned so much from these boards over the months I planned this trip, particularly the
theme parks and attractions board, the restaurant board, the resorts board and the trip
reports board. I hope some of you can get some benefit from this report, have some of
your questions answered, or if nothing else, relive you own magical memories of Disney
for a little while.

Thanks to all who took the time to read through this. I enjoyed reliving the trip through
this report. Dream Disney!

Thanks for a great report. I enjoyed reading it. :)

I am glad all of you enjoyed my trip reports. I wasn't sure how well they would read once I got through with them, since I have never done one before. We had such a great trip, and my daughter had a wonderful time, which was the main point of all the planning for me. I read so many wonderful reports while I was planning my trip, I hope I have helped someone else with theirs. Have a Disney day!

Don't know how I missed this one - but I just finished reading them all and wanted to thank you for taking the time to post it. I sounds like you had a wonderful trip with many happy moments. My DH got singled out at a show at the Adventures Club and I never laughed so hard in my life. I love reading reports about Jane and her Pixies. thanks again.
