Did anyone see the new series on Sky One last night called The 4400. It has been a bit hit in the States, and after last nights opening episode - I'm hooked. Basically it starts with what looks like a comet heading to Earth, but as it slow down over the U.S. it comes to a stop, then vanishes leaving behind people that have been reported missing/abducted in the last 60 years. Their last memories are their last day on Earth. After a matter of weeks in isolation they are let lose into the community, where they are showing strange behaviour i.e being able to predict the future, healing and killing when angry.

The show looks brilliant, and I'll be watching every week.

So what did you think of it ?

We missed it too but DH tells me its been huge in the states. Must check sky1+ to see when they show it this week:Pinkbounc

This sounds brilliant - right up DH's street. Sadly, we don't have Sky. Don't suppose it will be repeated on terrestrial or digital.:(

DD and I loved it!:)
I'm getting Mark to set up sky plus to record it the next couple of weeks while we're away;)

I thought it was very watchable::yes::

Damn I missed it, really wanted to watch this as it replaced Hex which I got into. Glad to hear its repeated tomorrow night though, will have to set the video recorder, im tucked up in bed by 10pm. :D

I had to stop watching after 22 mins due to the technical inaccuracies like ... Shooting nuclear missiles past the moon at a fast moving target and the 4400 all being allowed to watch news broadcasts about their return. I like Sci-Fi but it has to have some believability - not even Scotty on Star Trek cannot change the laws of physics!
