The 40% off sale ends April 30th, then what?

Do these things typically get extended for the fall or are all bets off due to the 20th anniversary? Typically European airfare for the fall starts to drop around mid summer but I hate to book a package and then the fares don't drop. On the other hand I'd to wait to see if fares come down and then pay an arm and a leg for the DLP package. See my conundrum?

Is there anyone who keeps a historical record of discounts at DLP? I know there are people that do this for WDW.

I don't keep a record, but going on DLP's offers for the last 2 or 3 years one main offer ends, then within a week or so theres a flash sale (so if they do it early May it would likely be for dates in May/June/possibly early July), then shortly after that theres another discount offer with a longer booking window.

What do you class as fall Michael, its just that the current UK Disney offer up to the end of April includes up to 40% off for arrivals up to and including 7th November this year.

We are looking at the first week in September. The current discount is great for this time, a 4 night package at SL is £685 ($1074). The problem is the airfare is very expensive now. So are you saying when the current deal expires there may be another deal right behind it that still covers this time period?

yes, I'd say so - theres a lot of potential discount booking time between May and September :).

Don't they also sometimes "extend" the offer due to demand?

Well you *could* book hotel package separately from the travel, and then just keep a keen eye on airline costs for the next few months. It really depends, I'm sure there will be other DLP deals, but it's hard to guess what they might do next, as their deals tend to be a bit different year on year - they may extend the current deal, or give it a few weeks/months break. They always try and cut some kind of deal - but if it'll be as good as 40% off? Hard to gauge.

I agree with Elaine - it's worked like that for the last few years. Only downside is waiting last minute to book and also that your exact dates might not be included.

We got lucky last July and got 50% off. For September, I'm sure there will be further offers when this one ends. As Elaine says, there will likely be a flash sale after 30 April and then a new offer with a longer booking period. :goodvibes
