I am going on my first trip to WDW w/ my DH, and 2 DS.
I have loved all the info I have gotten on the DIS boards but when I sit down and figure out what all should go in my BAGALLINI (sp) that I purchased..It is going to weigh 3000lbs.:rotfl2:

Besides a Camera, What is your top 10 in your bag!

Any insight would really help as I start gathering for the trip.

camera
small wallet
disposable poncho
a few kleenex
a chapstick
if summer, a small tube of sunscreen

I make each kid carry their own bag and have done so since they were 4 (autograph book, pen, a few snacks when they were little)

In my baggallini is my camera, spare batteries/memory cards, KTTW cards, ID, $$$, and lip gloss. DH carries a backpack (that goes in the stroller when we go on rides) with ponchos, snacks, change of clothes for DD, wipes, sunscreen, small first aid kit, and water bottles. DD carries her own autograph book and pen.

The bagalini probably has a zipper pocket. I don't bring a wallet, I just put my money in the zipper compartment. I also bring a pen, wipes (for hands), bandaids, a couple of water bottles (when empty we throw them out), map of the park, sunscreen, kleenex.

One of our must have items is ear plugs!! some of those attractions are really really loud! The first time we went we did not have the plugs and it made it unenjoyable for ds becuse it was to loud and it scared him. NOW we know! hope this helps! have a great time!

I also would suggest you wear shorts or capris with cargo type pockets. I try to put ALL valuables in my pocket, so if I was to lose my bag, no big deal.

In my bag: water bottle (frozen)
few bandaids/pain meds
hand wipes
mini sunscreen
snacks
map / poncho

I have everyone in my group carry their 'own' stuff. It will minimize what you have/get to carry. Pack light!

Pocket:
camera, cell phone, C.C. $$, room key

I also bring a ziplock bag to protect my camera/cell phone on water rides.

If I bring a baseball cap, I just loop the back of the hat, then fasten it thru a belt loop so I do not have to carry it (besides a sunshade, baseball cap is worn if my hair gets drenched & looks awful)

I use sunglass croakie to hang them around my neck if needed...OH, I wear a waterproof watch.

Small digital camera (it's really little!)
small wallet
list of ADRs and other confirmations
lip gloss
emergency poncho
moleskin (cut into pieces)
extra socks (very refreshing to change socks if your feet are hot and sweaty)
small tube of sunscreen
lip balm
tic tacs
wet wipes
sunglasses
a bandaid or two

NOTHING

In my pockets are: wallet, cell phone, plastic bag, park ticket, keys (car and room, but I would carry the house keys and the key to the car left at home if DW didnt suggest leaving them behind), touring plan folded in fourths, park map & show schedule

What else do I NEED at Disney?:lmao:

we are taking a stroller and diaper bag so my backpack/purse will hold..
money in some kind of wallet
pennies and quarters for pressed penny machines
hair brush
hand lotion
chapstick
ink pen
camera unless DH carries it
sunglass case (I have my first ever pair of "real" sunglasses and I am determined not to damage them!)

diaper bag will hold..
autograph books and sharpies
bandaid kit
water and snacks
diapers
wipes
sunscreen (spray on kind)
ponchos
change of clothes for DS
sippy cup
large zip lock bag for purse/backpack incase it rains
swim diaper for the water fountains
park maps

whew! I am tired already!!

In my pack are as follows:

Camera with extra battery
two ponchos
2L Camelbak Dromedary filled 3/4 with ice
a small hand/paktowel
xtra socks if not wearing Croc's
small tube of desitin or bodyglide
a pr of "cheap" flip flops if wearing shoes for water rides
wallet and chapstick

all total, my pack weighs less than 6lbs fully loaded, and the pack is a Mountainsmith Lumbar Daypack with strapettes (pictured below)

camera
chapstick
park tickets
ID
tylenol
2 bandaids (never know when a stranger needs one)
mini contact solution (never know when you will get something in the eye)
mini sunscreen
pen/a few post its
park map
cell phone

chapstick
small sunscreen
spare sunglasses
windbreaker
autograph book/pen
cell phone
camera
first aid kit*

*I highly recommend one of these. At Mickey''s Twas the Night before Xmas last year, a toddler a few rows ahead of me took a tumble. The family was all set to take toddler to main st for a bandaid, but I offered one.

--Camera w/2 extra AA batteries
--Money/ID
--Rain ponchos
--Water bottles (2)
--Mister fan
--Band-Aids/mole skin for potential blisters
--small sunscreen
--gum! (cuz you ain't gonna find any at Disney)

As others have said, have your kids start carrying their own "stuff" as soon as they're able.

Guess I'm the dinosaur here but I have always used a fanny pack. It's small and really carries everything I need. If I carry anything bigger I have a tendency to FILL it! KTTK, money, pennies/quarter for pressed pennies, ADR info, cell phone (and a zip lock bag for wet rides or rain). My sun glasses fit when I don't need them and I won't put it down like I might do with a back pack or purse... heck , I'm on vacation, I don't need all that extra stuff!

I also have one of those lanyards for water bottles so I don't have to carry that all day. You can buy them in the parks.:cool1:
