The 3 Cabellero-etts take a road trip, House Hunt, and DW all during SB, Update 7/21

We always like to stop and see the worlds largest gummy bear and drive thru Carls Jr. for lunch. (Although it is called something different in LO, or AL, where ever ir is we stop.)

That would be Hardee's! I was shocked when driving out West seeing the Hardee's Star, but it being Carl's Jr!

AWE! Your trip is over! But it still seemed really great! Glad you got settled for now! I think your daughter would LOVE the college program! I know SEVERAL people that have done it and just rave about it! I hope they are still doing it in 15 years when my girls are looking at college and such! I think internships and traveling are important before getting all settled and becoming an adult!

You should sneak off to the World for Food and Wine! Or Thanksgiving!

Where's the World Largest Gummy Bear... Rae wants to go and check it out!!!

Oh my lands... you will need lots of stops for Stretch Breaks... But you will be styling as you drive down I10... I love that little car... One of Rae's friends has it.

Yes, I does seem like you drive forever in Texas... But then again, I do live in Northwest West Texas... Way over here... and it's forever to just get to Houston and then it goes forever to still get out of Texas... But we love driving it. Again, it was lots of fun to take Meghan along She's never been in that direction at all.

Thank you for such a wonderful read!! Oh my goodness, this was the second round of ELP pictures for me this weekend and it still brought tears to my eyes. I watched it with my daughter in CA, when she was a little girl and last August, 2011, got to watch it with my grandmunchkins!!

This place in Louisiana is awesome. It's a little store, in a tiny town, that we found by accident, as we wanted ice cream. It has all the old fashioned candy you can imagine. Things I hadn't seen since my childhood, way back when. It's so much fun!!

I would definately give it 5 ***** and a huge . We can't go to WDW without stopping here!!

I know the place you are talking about!! Candyland Cottage and Ice-Cream Shop. Their slogan is: Where old and yum come together!

It is in Rayne, LA (frog Capitol of the world)! We stopped there on the way to Texas two years age. A lot of fun!!

Thanks for the info on the Gummy Bear place. I'll have to search for it and put it in my plans for our next trip to Orlando. Although I don't have a Disney trip in the plans. Although our cruise it going to be fun, but after writing this report, I'm wishing we we're going to Disney!!!

It's my 50th birthday on the 16th and I had decided to cruise for my birthday well about a week ago my sweet husband said... I want to go to Disney...

That's all he had to say... So I cancelled our cruise - rather I moved it to next year late... and now I'm planning a trip to Disney...

I'm so excited... Nothing better then spend my 50th Birthday in Disney...
