The Disney Hollywood Studios 25th Anniversary Parade of Stars and especially the fireworks were some of the best I have seen. You had to be there to feel the intensity of the fireworks finale . . . great energy in the music and fireworks synchronization.

First time I met both Craig and Shawn F2F who were both at the event … wish I could have spent more time talking with them, but I arrived at the parade late, but fortunately I stumbled on a kind CM who found me a decent location along the parade route.

Enjoy . . . more images and a full trip review to come.

Thxs for the comments.

As promised, here is the second installment to my recent Disney trip.

On April 30 I went to the MK early to check–out the 7 Dwarfs mine train. This was the first day of the scheduled media event . . . which I was unfortunately not part of . . . but I did see Justin there and we chatted for a bit and he mentioned the weather was going to be bad for the remainder of the week. … my expensive Disney vacation week . . . oh well. I was able to catch a little sun in the morning and I took a few photos.

I was not able to get to ride the 7 Dwarfs mine train, but was able to observe various cast members and others who were fortunate enough to ride. What was strikingly apparent was the incredible quiet nature of the ride even going around short banks . . . it was like listening to a Mercedes engine . . . smooth as silk . . . that feat in and of itself was an engineering marvel.

With anything the Imagineers create, its all about the incredible details and when you look closely at the cars . . . you can see how well these cars were designed and constructed and its authentic look to the equipment and be true to the animated movie.

I took a small pano of around 9 or 10 high-res stitched images. This image was not really wide enough to truly due justice to a 180 degree + image, but I wanted the continued practice to further refine my work in this process.

Can you see the two birds in the pano . . . looks like they are vultures . . . (that’s the only clue I am giving . . . you will have to explore within the image to find them . . . not too hard to find!)
