You might want to check out placing an order w/ Garden Grocer. We did it last year and loved it! Very reasonable and convenient.

We are stying concierge level, so I don't want to place a grocery order. However, our boys both like toast or english muffins for breakfast, as well as yogurt as a snack all of which are not avail. in the club lounge. Since we just need a couple staple items, I want to know if I can buy them on site. I don't care how much more expensive they are than at a grocery store. I do not need $50 worth of stuff...

Contact IPO. While I only needed some specific drinks, when talking about this to AKL IPO for our last stay they informed me they also offered a grocery service. :thumbsup2 Don't know if it was only for certain items and if all CL levels offer it, but might be worth asking. Price turned out to be very reasonable, I think I was billed something in the $4,- for 12 16.9 oz water bottles. Don't remember the other drink prices anymore. No extra charges besides the price of the drinks themselves and they were delivered to the room.

Besides that, they should be able to tell you what is available at the resort. Not just club level, but the whole of the resort. I've had IPO inform me about the menu for Boma (as it has different items for different days), particular items at the counter service etc. It's one of those many things IPO is there for to help you with. :goodvibes

Hi all,

Newbie to the Beach Club, and this thread. We are planning our stay at BC at the end of July. Where can I find information on how late SAB will be open during our stay? Thanks for your help!

I know I have seen this info before but for the life of me I can't find it today. Does anyone know if there is a place at the YC where we can check in and print our boarding passes? I will not be bringing my laptop and printer in August.:woohoo: Finally a trip without it. TIA.:flower3:

When I stayed at the Grand Floridian last year you could have food from Narcoossees and Citricos as room service. If you stay at the Yacht Club can you have food from the Yachtmans steakhouse as room service?

Do all of the Yacht Club rooms have full balconies?
Also, what are the best standard views to request?

Hi!:flower3:
The lobby concierge can do it for you if you have your record locator with you. You could also do it yourself at the conference center. If you are checking bags with RAC, they'll do it for you.

Do all the villas have a balcony? We are staying in a 1bdrm and are hoping for a nice balcony if possible.

Thanks

They do indeed with the exception of first floor villas which have a small patio.

Have a great time at BCV!:cool1:

Thanks! I guess I should request a higher up floor, any reccs? How many floors are there at the villas anyways?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I didn't feel like looking through hundreds of previous posts! I'm planning on visiting WDW for my honeymoon in Sept. 2010. Has anyone stayed in the honeymoon suite in either YC or BC? What is the main difference between the two resorts? They both seem great to me!

There is no "honeymoon suite" at the Y&B Club. We have numerous suites at both resorts but not a specific "honeymoon" suite.

The main difference between the two resorts is the colors. The rooms are basically the same size and set up the same. All the rooms at the YC have full balconies and at the BC you could get a standing balcony versus a full balcony. The BC, however, is closest to Epcot. The YC, however, is closer to the boats to Hollywood Studios. I personally prefer the BC because it is lighter and busier and more lively. I call the YC the dark side but because it's more woody and sedate, some people prefer the YC. It's definitely calmer and more quiet in the lobby.

The suites: All of them at both resorts give you club level access. There are a number of different sizes and types over at the YC. At the BC, there are two suites on the fifth floor where the lounge is. One is the Presidential Suite which is huge ... one bedroom has a king, the other bedroom has one queen and one double and a study with a daybed in it. My favorite is the Vice Presidential which sleeps two. It has a living room area with a huge balcony and a beautiful bedroom ... decorated entirely different than the rest of the rooms at the BC and a bathroom that even has a tv in it. The bathroom is about the size of my bedroom at home. Same as the master bath in the Presidential. Then on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors we have two bedroom suites which are suites with a living room area and two bedrooms (decorated just like our normal hotel rooms), one with a king bed and regular bath and one with two queens and a daybed and a regular bath. We also have one bedroom suites on the lower four floors ... they have a walk-in closet, a normal bath, a sitting room area with a daybed and a separate bedroom with a king bed in it. There are two many different sizes of suites over at the YC for me to get into but there is no designated "honeymoon suite" at either resort.

If I was planning a honeymoon and money was not an issue, I'd want the Vice Presidential at the BC!

Hi BCV23, How are you doing?:hippie:

Thanks so much for the info. What's going to be nice about our mother ~ daughter trip is no lap top and one carry on bag each.:thumbsup2

There are five floors at BCV although the fifth floor is smaller than the others.

Perhaps just request a balcony?

Hi there!:flower3:

That sounds like a great way to travel!

Do you mean the floor itself is smaller, or the villas on the 5th floor are smaller? My DH wants a higher floor on the epcot side if possible, he said he wants to be able to catch the fireworks if he can. Is that possible from that side of the villas?

The villas are the same size but the floor has fewer rooms. It doesn't span the entire footprint of the resort.

It is possible to see the higher effects of Illuminations from many/most of the villas on the Epcot side. There is one side of one wing that can't see them at all. However, the funny thing is I don't think it matters which floor you're on. We've been on every floor except the first on that side. From each, you can see the high fireworks. From no floor can you see the lower effects. Many people do seem to request higher/highest floor but we never do. Oh, and I think most 5th floor balconies are the enclosed dormer style. They're fine but I like the open ones better.

Thanks!! He was just hoping to catch a few of the higher up fireworks I think, while the kids are in bed.

We love just that. It's fun to see some of the other balconies fill up and then everyone retreats inside after Illuminations. Have fun!
