Unless the temps are abnormally cool I think you will get in some great pool time. We were down last March towards the middle of the month and the weather was beautiful!

Awesome, that makes me feel much better! :goodvibes

You will for sure be able to use the pool in march. My family came to visit me at WDW this past march and we did a split stay at CSR and OKW and we used the pools on multiple days. It might get chilly at night but expect temps in the high 70s and low 80s and bring sunblock!! I ended up in a walk in care center when my parents flew home and ended up with burns on my chest and nose from the fun in the sun!!!

Thanks! I would have hated to get there and it was too cold. We always have dinner there and SAB looks so fun! Oh wow, I never would have thought it would be that hot! We'll bring sunblock for sure. :thumbsup2

I would requet a room overlooking the wedding gazebo. My in-laws had a standard view there and it was lovely. BTW we've used the pool in January and February so you may get lucky!

Oh good call! I forgot that those were standard view. Maybe we can even see a wedding! :goodvibes Glad to hear that you were even able to use the pool in Jan and Feb!

Going to be at BCV in 6 days, can anyone who has been lately tell me the hours of Stormalong Bay.
Thanks

Thanks, I'm hoping for hours that late as my kids like to swim after getting back from the parks. I didn't know if it had lighting around it.

There's lighting but they are strict and they closed exactly at 10. They chain off the pool entrances and the lifeguards leave at that time. Keep in mind the quiet pools are open all night but there are no lifeguards there. We swam many times after the parks closed in the quiet pools. There was record breaking heat that week so it was really nice to take a cool dip before heading to bed.

First Post.

We are heading to the Beach Club next June and were wondering when the Cape May Breakfast Buffet opens and when the characters first come out?pirate:

We have a 7:30am ADR for Cape May Breakfast and that is the earliest seating that they have. As for your character question, I am guessing it will be soon after they open. Have fun....Cape May character breakfast is one of our favorite character breakfasts :thumbsup2

The "info" page in this thread (the first page) states that BC/YC has dial-up internet service. Is this still the case, or is this information outdated? I'm hoping they have high-speed service since I will need to use it while I am there. Thanks!

I just booked BC today as well and would love to see pictures of the Club Level Lounge. All reviews I have seen so far say it was quite small and uncomfortable. Did they rennovate it lately?

It is outdated. There is HSIA available in the rooms for $9.95/24 hours. :surfweb:

I have stayed Poly CL and Yacht CL snd really enjoyed both!
I love the location of BC, but I am really questioning my decision. I like to try new resorts, but Poly and YC were so great.
Please tell me I won't be disappointed with BC CL.

Originally, despite having stayed CL before, I wasn't going to stay CL at the YC next May, just keeping with the dxdp instead and a waterview room, however, I've now switched to CL (couldn't resist lol) due to a 20% discount, OK it's not as much as the 40% discount going around at the moment, but I'm happy :goodvibes

Hey all, I'm new to this thread so I apologize if this has already been asked. My family and I are planning on staying in a 2BR villa at the BC. There will be 8 of us in all, 6 being adults.

I noticed that in the 2BRs some of the 2nd bedrooms have 1 queen and a double sofa sleeper, and others have 2 queens. For our situation would would definitely want 2 queens.

What are the chances of getting one or the other? How many rooms have each setup?

We recently returned from our very first trip to Disney. We stayed at a BC standard room from 10/11-10/17. Lovely hotel, with comfortable beds. Great location - so close to Epcot. It even smelled nice when you walk in. The entertainment staff was wonderful - they got the kids into dancing and games at the pool in the afternoon.

Pool slide was a big hit with my 4-year old - he wanted to do it over and over again. Downside to pool slide is that it is so long that you cannot supervise your kids going up the slide while being at the pool. Since my son is only 4, I walked him over to the slide (across from the pathway) and went down before him. A little bit of a pain if you have young children and thought you could just be lazy and lounge at the pool.

I also wish therw would have been a real counter-service place for breakfast. The BC Marketplace was extremely limited.
