lol see, people aren't surprised when i drive around blasting Manson or NIN....my bumper stickers say "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts his cakehole", "Christo?" and "I am not part of your psychic friends network, use your turn signal!" so they pretty much know from just my car how i am lol. although, once in a while i have Backstreet Boys on....THAT gets me strange looks.....

I love driving up behind cars like yours. I would be cracking up at the shotfun shuts his cakehole one. My husband would LOVE the turn signal one. That's his biggest pet peeve.

David Cook won hands down for me tonight. I thought his voice was fabulous and his looks into the camera weren't bad either.

I've liked him from the start though. I was really mad at Simon for saying the mean thing last week about him being a word-nerd. I actually find that sexy.

His hair is really bad but it suits him. I think he probably just has very thin, fine thinning hair. But I don't think he is creep, I think he is cute (not handsome like Michael).

I'll agree with Jennisis though, it turned up the heat tonight!

Week Three – The Guys – Wrap-Up

I don't remember being a big fan of the 80's but this was my favorite week so far. Hopefully I'm more coherent than Paula when I say that they all did well tonight - well, maybe not Luke.....

Luke Menard – Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go – I can see this guy as part of a acapella group. Heck, I could see him singing that song as part of an acapella group, but an American Idol winner, he is not. He sings great, but I don't feel like this is what he was meant to do - stick with the group dude.

David Archuleta – Another Day in Paradise – I loved this guy's vocals. I love them every week, but I just don't like him. He is just too phoney and I'm not buying it.

Danny Noriega – Tainted Love – This guy is TMTH - really! He is wildly entertaining and I loved the performance, but will anyone really take this drag queen seriously? I know I won't. He is a joke and I'm afraid that the best vocals in the world won't make him a mainstream superstar. He really could have pulled off Culture Club, though.

David Hernandez – It’s All Coming Back to Me Now – I liked this guy a lot. He does tend to get growly and I think he knows it and tries to control it. Even though this guy is gay, to me, he is not a joke. He is taking the competition seriously and not trying to be a circus act and I like him for that. I don't care about his sexuality (or Danny's for that matter) and he doesn't throw it in my face. I can actually concentrate on his singing and enjoy it.

Michael Johns – Don’t You Forget About Me – I like this guy. He is well seasoned, but he has yet to make anything "his own". Each week, he sounds exactly like the recording. I don't want someone to completely flip around the arrangement like David A. did with 'Imagine", but I would like to be able to associate his version with him. He always sounds like the original to me. That's not bad, but that's also not memorable. I don't like his hopping while singing too much, though.

David Cook -- Hello – Okay, I was thinking CONSPIRACY, since my sound cut out when he came on and didn't return until he said "Hello" at the end. I ran to the den to see if my other tivo picked up the sound and it was silent there also. So, I thought everyone missed it. Low and behold, everyone else got to enjoy it. Thanks to Rickey.org for allowing me to view the awesomeness that was David Cook tonight. I loved it and he just made me a big fan. I'd listen to that on the radio all day.

Jason Castro -- Hallelujah – I've seen Shrek a time or two, but I do not recall this song. I did love it, though. I'm starting to like the stinky-haired boy more and more. I agree with Simon - "brilliant".

Chikezie – All the Woman That I Need – I thought he did fine. Nothing spectacular, but nothing horrid either. I liked the vocals but I don't ever see him winning me over. His voice doesn't suit my tastes.
