Ever hear someone call an attraction, mode of transportation, or pretty musch anything at WDW by a completely false name? Can you admit to being guilty of this? Friends? Family? If so, then post them here!!!

These are some I've heard over the years:

FastPass - Fast Track
Test Track - Fast Track
Kilimanjaro Safaris - Jungle Cruise
Mad Tea Party - The Teacups
Cinderella Castle - Cinderella's Castle (very slight but common mistake...since it's not HER castle ;))
Mission: Space - Space Mountain
Fantasmic! - Fantastic!
Fantasmic! - Fantasy In The Sky
Fantasmic! - Fantabulous!
Innoventions - Invention World
Great Movie Ride - Chinese Restaurant
Great Movie Ride - Indiana Jone's Great Adventure

That should be good to start it off. You have any more you've heard or said over the years?

Does this count? I'm guilty of referring to the Rockin' Roller Coaster as simply "Aerosmith" - i.e. "Hey, let's go on Aerosmith again!"

my friends call Magic Kingdom "Magical" Kingdom, which I guess is true about it, but still, the wrong name!

Guy I work with is headed to "Disney World one day, and Epcot the next." :)

We call ITTBAB "Bugs Life" all the time...much easier.

When my daughter was 2, she called the monorail the "monoride rail". Sort of stuck, and we've been calling it that way since.. well, atleast I have. Not sure if the DH is on board with that..

Others:
Saratoga Springs = Sarasota Springs
Backlot Tour = Earthquake

Dd7 used to call Spaceship Earth - Epcot. When we were there when she was 5 she kept telling me she wanted to ride Epcot again.

I'm bad about the Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt Show. I always mess it up and call it Lights, Stars and Motorcars Stunt Show.

Someone posted a while back about how their mom calls Buzz Lightyear "Bud Light". That's my favorite incorrect name so far! And yes, The Teacups will always be The Teacups for me too.

Hmm...Bud Light... :drinking1

One I've heard is Bugs Life for ITTBAB.

OMG, I just realized I've always been calling it "Bug's Life". I guess I'm one of those people this thread is about. :rotfl:

Technically, isn't it King Stefan's (I think that's his name)castle, since it was his long before he met Cinderella, and from what I can tell, they only dance at the ball, and community property laws usually entitle people to their possessions before a marriage is consummated.

Not sure what the law was in their kingdom, but he probably wrote it. :)

We always call Spaceship Earth the "Epcot Ball" even though we know we're wrong. :thumbsup2

(And to me Port Orleans Riverside will always be Dixie Landings.)

Spaceship Earth will always be called "The Ball" by my family!!!

Mission: Space = Mission to Mars
Spaceship Earth = The Golf Ball (and I'm not giving this one up!)
Mickey's PhilharMagic = Mickey's Philharmonic/Philharmonica
