After all the weirdness at Disney Dining, aside from my PS's at Prime Time and Cindy's, I'm totally going to wing it. If we get there and want to go to a certain restaurant, I'm going to try to get a last minute PS. Early seatings are just not fun all the time. So we'll see what happens. Anyone else winging it?;)

We usually wing it on every trip..have maybe 1 PS and it's been okay for us most of the time.
This trip I have 4 PS for an 8 day trip and that is VERY unusual..but our arrival day I decided to do Chef Mickey's..then I booked the PSB breakfast in case I couldn't get CRT..but ending up getting that, and then decided to keep both,as one is on Sun. and one is on Wed.
It's also my birthday while we're there, so I booked 1900 Park Fare for dinner that Friday.

Another vote here for winging it! We just got back on Sunday and we just never know what we are going to feel like doing until we are there. Once we were settled in and figured out where we wanted to go, we would call at most the day before to get a PS. Sometimes we lucked out, sometimes we didn't. We ended up eating at Ohana, Cape May breakfast and dinner, Teppanyaki, and Mama Melrose. The times were pretty good too.

We already have a couple of PS' made but the rest we are winging it! we leave in just a few short weeks. I am READY for a vacation!!!!

Only made 2 PS for November trip: 1900 P.F. Dinner on a Sunday and PSB on Monday morning. We can do what we want and not feel that we have to rush to get to PS.:p :p

Me, too.

We have ressies for V&A for our Sept. trip, but I'm winging the rest of them.

I never have enough days to try (or return to) all the restaurants I want anyhow, so I figger I'll let FATE work its magic ;)

Denise < --- goal is to work her way through all of 'em someday.

We have 4 PSs made for a 6 night trip. We also plan to eat at ESPN, but cant book that yet.
As of now our Mama Melrose PS is at 4:30 and im not happy with it. Not sure if we will keep that, try for something later, or just cancel it and pick up a pizza.

We just returned from WDW and we made no advance PS's , as usual. We ate at Teppanyaki, Le Cellier (walked in and sat immediately at both), Hollywood and Vine (called in the morning and got the Fantasmic package), Prime Time (called in the morning), Princess Breakfast in Norway (called the morning before), Kona Cafe (walk in).

We always make a couple and that's it. I have CRT breakfast and Prime Time and I think I will try for Coral Reef and that will be it. We want to be a little more flexible this year.

We make fewer Ps's every trip. We like to eat early, and we're not usually there in the peak season, so PS's seem unneccesary.

We are also winging it,we will be there in 13 days and have no ps. We will call from our room if we want to eat anywhere special.

I've been a "Commando Planner" with every meal planned - and made everyone miserable, and I've been a "Wing It" planner and been very disappointed when we were left to Counter Service meals. So now for our next trip I am making a few PS for the places we really want to eat at, and we will leave the rest up to fate. My advice is: Make a PS for any meal you MUST have or if you want a very specific time at a restaurant, and then relax and enjoy!

We usually make just 1 or 2 character meal PS's we really want and wing the rest. I don't like to plan the parks/rides around PS's as things can change and we may be in the mood for something else. We also don't mind counter food. We had ps's for PSB and 'Ohana character meals 2 months ago. Kept PSB and pushed 'Ohana's back a day. No biggie. We tend to like the character breakfasts and will eat counter food/ resort food later that day. That said we DO have our Turkey day PS's for this year. ;) Some days they are more important:D . I also got Kona Cafe breakfast for DH and my alone trip in Oct. That is the only place we HAVE to eat at. Can decide the rest when we get there.:D

Some PSs, but most not. I have 4 PSs for a 6 day trip: CM, PSB, 1900 Park Fare and Teppenyaki. Beyond that, probably counter service or try for last minute PS. As you can see, 3 of 4 are for character meals, and the Teppenyaki is because DDs and I love it (DH tolerates it), so I wanted a good time.

DW and I always wing it. Like Allie322 said, we never know what we'll be in the mood for, when we'll want to eat or even what time of service (sit-down, counter, snack bar at hotel) we'll feel like. We're doing a 7 night FTP, and even with Concierge (who I'm told could even get us a PS with Walt ;) ) we've only got one PS - and that is because we're having dinner at 'Ohana with our new DIS friends - hello, ScarletIndigo!

Also, there has never been a restaurant at WDW that was a 'must do' for us....

Hey DrTomorrow! Can't wait to see you and your lovely DW! And looking forward to seeing everyone at the MNSSHP meet on 10/3!
