"That's gay"

Back in school it used to bother me though. In high school I would put things down by saying "That's so straight."

That reminds me of my brother who is gay.. when we go somewhere and we are walking and he might say "which way do we go?", I always say "just go straight".. he says "No.. go forward" :lmao: He refuses to say go straight..

lol :p thats funny, it reminds me of when my friends say something, and instead of of saying "right on" i say "straight on" and they always say something along the lines of "me not you"

i find it funny :rotfl:

I find it very interesting how over time words change their meaning. Different generations use the same words for completly different things. While reading "the little house on the prairie" books to my 10 yr old daughter she giggles every time I say "the flowers are so gay" or "the party was gay". My Nana, her great-nana is gay so she thinks of this when Im reading the story. Ive explained the different meanings of gay to her, but shes grown up in a generation where gay means... well... gay :sunny:
I wonder what words will change for my grandchildren?
