He's having some procedure done today and had some prep yesterday; hope it wasn't the nasty pre-colonoscopy stuff. I told my doctor that unless they changed the prep I would never go through that again...most distasteful thing I have undergone (2 times) and she agreed as she patted gently on the shoulder.

Poor guy! I know it's necessary but they have got to improve the method; my 2nd time was so bad that my dh cancelled his and hasn't gone in yet for his first.

DH's 1st procedure was done just in the nick of time. Typical guy that he is, he kept putting it off and putting it off. I finally went 1st to show him it wasn't so bad (and lucky for me, the prep wasn't so bad!). He was this close to cancer.

That's scary Laura! Glad it was caught before too late!

I really wish DH would go have one but he was so sick all last summer that he still has bad vibes about anything medical other than what is required.

I understand, but (and I'm not trying to preach! ) - don't let him keep putting it off. My DH did and it was almost a very costly mistake. Sometimes he's thankful he has a wife who nags!
