That time when Member Services really came through...

We have 5 days at VGF in December to enjoy the Christmas trappings and the parks. Since we bought DVC, we have always tried to bring my 84 year old mother (who is in great health) with us, but she has always turned us down. The other day, she asked if the offer still stood, and of course we were delighted!

But being planners, we already had 5 dining reservations, tickets to La Nouba, and tickets to the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom.

So I called member services and found a very helpful person. In one phone call, she
  • Added her to our reservation
  • Linked to My Disney Experience
  • Got her park tickets
  • Set up Magical Disney Express
  • Changed all 5 restaurant reservations from 2 to 3
  • Added her to the Wild Africa Trek
The only thing she could not do was La Nouba. I called La Nouba separately and they were very helpful as well. We could not keep the same seats, but we got three very good seats together.

I was afraid I would spend the next two weeks trying to redo our ADRs, and I was amazed to get all this done on one call. I have always had good service from Member Services, but I was really delighted with the service yesterday.
 
Great news! I am impressed that your mother will have the stamina to do the Wild Africa Trek. There are days I wonder if I can do now. LOL

We are hoping she can handle it. It looks like the most strenuous thing is going over the swinging bridge while attached to a harness.
