Have you ever heard a song that made you mentally break down while listening to it? Have you ever heard a song that makes you think of something/someone important that makes you break down? Or have you ever heard a song thats very important to you?

I have. As most of you know I moved over 600 miles away from "my life". Lately, I've been so homesick its not funny. I've heard so many songs these past few days that make me wanna break down and crawl into a ball and shut everything else out. Some of the songs though IDK why I feel the way I do when I hear them...I just do. IDK if they remind me of family or a friend IDK. One song thats really hit me is Wait for you by Elliot Yammin(sp?).

So yeah...

Lost Without You- blink-182.
...Slowdance on the Inside- Taking Back Sunday.
They both mean a lot to me.

When You're Gone - Avril Lavigne
Call Your Name - Rex Goudie
Way Above - Rex Goudie
The Adventure - Angels & Airwaves

All remind me of my grandmother. So, after she passed away, these songs got to me.

Finale- Nightmare Before Christmas Soundtrack
Life and Death- Lost Soundtrack

there's this one song by Christina Agularia (sp?) she talks about her dad, I cannot listen to it, I always have to change the station.

Care to explain why? And its ok if you dont want to. :)

Yeah.
That's fine.
Lost Without You reminds me of my best friend Jasmine. We got in a fight that lasted over a year. We hated each other. But on the inside I still cared about her soooo much. I bought the blink-182 cd and was just listening to it one day. It hit that song and I lost it. The lyrics say, "Are you afraid of being alone? Cause I am. I'm lost without you." That's how I felt. So I called her a bawled my eyes out. It's been hard but we are pretty good friends again.

...Slowdance on the Inside just reminds me of myself and the way I look at my life. It kind of reminds me of my ex too.

My friend(a TBer) just reminded me of these songs:
Perfect-Simple Plan

*They make me think of life in general*

^^ I wonder who that could be...? :rolleyes1

Perfect - Simple Plan
Crazy - Simple Plan
Welcome to My Life - Simple Plan

Those songs just mean so much to me.

'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone

These wounds won't seem to heal
This pain is just too real
There's just too much that time cannot erase
When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years
But you still have
All of me

I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone
But though you're still with me
I've been alone all along

Mainly that one part. The story's kind of long but here it goes. When I was 11, my mom moved to Montana and tried to get custody of me. But my dad won by bribary. I only get to see my mom twice a year. It's really hard for me because I've lived with her since that day she moved -I'm starting to cry now lol, I'm such a wimp- and it didn't really hit me that she was gone until a couple weeks later and I went into this semi-depression. My mom has been there for me everytime I needed her, she did exactly what the song said "When you cried I'd wipe away all of your tears
When you'd scream I'd fight away all of your fears
And I held your hand through all of these years".

The Ballad of Michael Valentine by the Killers and Boston by Augustana. I was going through a period where I was breaking apart from friends that made me miserable and finding friends that made me happy. They both talk about leaving things that we know are hard for us to be happy again.

"Such Great Heights" the Iron and Wine version.

:(

That song was playing during the best moment of my freshmen year. And that moment can never be recreated. People change...a certain person changed. I wish I could go back to that one night, when we were perfect.

:(

For some stupid reason
I miss you by miley cyrus.
Because I miss my grandma.
She died in..2001
