I agree with Doc also. I can't see any reason whatsoever to dislike him because he's winning. Would people like him better if he quit? Let someone else win? I don't get it - I have nothing but complete admiration for the guy.

I've been watching with my kids and every night after he wins we shake our heads and say, "wow, what a guy." I hope they're impressed - they should be.

It's OK to pay intellectually challenged athletes who barely graduate from high school and couldn't use proper grammar if someone from Oxford's Dictionary spoke for them, MILLIONS of dollars a year--Hell a $90,000,000 contract from Nike to a high school kid BEFORE he ever played a day in the pros is now the norm, but let someone use his BRAIN to make some money and everyone hates him and wats to see him lose.

Fantastic message to send our kids--dont stay in school, who needs a college education. Better yet, apply to Oklahoma State, after all, they gave Dexter Manley a college diploma--AND THE GUY COULD NOT READ!!!!, but he was one hell of a football player.

That's a very interesting take on this, and one I hadn't thought about, but man it's true. Very sad indeed. Though I have to say, I've never been a fan of the enormous amounts of money pro athletes make.
