Does "Wishes" at WDW have the song that goes... "wishes!" Only it's very drawn out and catchy like... "wwwwwishes!" And an adorable little girl's voice singing "star light star bright", and you make your 6 year old daughter sing it just like that and it makes you giggle? *ahem*

Anyway, if so... my family and I sing the "Wishes" song all the time, just out of the blue. And my DFi often adds silly things like "dishes" when we are washing them, and stuff like that. You know you do, too. Don't you? We have "Remember" here at Disneyland. But they use that darned "Wishes" song (the one described so eloquently above). Go figure.

That darned cute little girl's voice gets me every time, even when I listen to my CD at home...

:sunny:

The CD is awesome!! I listen to it all of the time and everytime I go to Disney I have to see wishes at least once. But that is funny how u do "dishes" and stuff like that.

I listen to the CD in the car, it never comes out of the CD player. I'll probably have to buy a new one, this one will be wearing out soon.

I love the wishes song. The only bad thing is when it pops into my head when I'm suppossed to be doing work.

I cry every single time I hear it. In the parks, at home, in my car - people must think I'm nuts!!!! It's an incredible song to accompany and incredible show!!

If you scroll down on the page you'll see wishes listed there, as well as other songs.

once in awhile when i am having my disney craving, i listen to these songs. or i'll play one of the videos on there to get in the mood as i am planning. :cool1:

at the top of that page, if you point at resources, and click movies, there are video clips that people of done inside of certain rides, shows, etc....
EVEN video clips of WISHES

take a look... it is a definite disney fix for the cravings. :goodvibes

Hehe, we saw Wishes 3 time on our trip last week (first time seeing it too) and I just couldn't remember the lyrics from the main verse. My girlfriend was starting to get annoyed when I would start singing the only part I knew about every five minutes since our first night. "Wishes....wishes. Wishes, wishessssss. Wishes....wishes....."

My Wife and myself were playing the Wishes cd in the car last night and you are so right about the little girls voice. Whenever we play the cd, her voice just gets to you. We listen to the cd along with our other WDW cd's all the time. :)

Thank goodness I'm not the only one! I'm listening to the CD right now when I saw this thread. I cry @ 3 different parts..
Her singing the final intro lead that ends w/ "and all our wishes will come true"
then the blue fairy telling us to always believe in our wishes
and Jiminy saying thank you for joining us....so long (I just always picture our family walking to the main gate to leave..tears me up every time)

My daugher did a pointe solo to the song Wishes - and afterwards a little girl came up to her and said, "that makes me so weepy because it means the fireworks are over and its time to leave Magic Kingdom."

We thought that was sooo cute!

Can you get the CD in the park? We all love the song, so if you can buy it we'll get it on our next trip. I also like the soundtrack to Fantasmic too, is that on CD? There are not many things that make me get emotional but the music at Disney is just something that brings happy memories flooding back. It's the simple things that Disney does better than anyone.

Yes you can get them in the park.
Be careful when looking for the Wishes CD, there are 2. The one you're looking for has Jiminy Cricket on the cover.

My daughter was going to singing Wishes for her school talent show, but we couldn't find a Karaoke type version so she's singing Funkytown instead. We love to listen to the CD too. I always get farklempt when I listen to it.

Thanks for that. It doesn't make a tough fella like me cry, it's just something in my eye, right?

Right?!!

Check in your resort gift shop too. Last December, when I checked in the parks, every place was sold out (I htink it was from so many Christmas shoppers). However, when I checked at my resort gift shop, they had several-Jiminy Cricket on a black backround.
