Just checked MDE for the heck of it (bc that’s what I like to do)
SDD has a 3 hour wait at 6:45am when HS opens at 8am?! These people don’t play around!!

I just checked too! but FOP is only 60 and RR and TOT are 15.. So in the future if I am every at WDW during a grand opening of the first few weeks. I will strategically AVOID those areas and take advantage of other low times.. we will be there end of August and I really hope HS will thin some of the Pandora and other crowds out.

Just checked at 8:15 EST, and SDD now has a 270 minute posted wait. Alien Saucers is 130 minutes. Glad I'm not there now.

I also checked, and wooooow it's crazy! I agree with a PP. If I'm ever there during a grand opening, I'm avoiding that area entirely and taking advantage of low waits seemingly everywhere else!

Thats why last night during the soft open the CM holding the pole saying "end of the line for Slinky Dog"was saying we should take advantage of this line,we looked at him weird as the line almost went out to the entrance of the land and was posted at 2 hrs but ended up only being 1hr 20 min.He knew today was going to be much crazier!

Yeah, I was kind of bummed that my recent little trip just missed the opening of Toy Story Land. But this makes it easier, LOL. I'm sure SDD is fun, but yikes!

Even in the worst of conditions, FP waits do not typically exceed 20 minutes or so.

Some are there for the experience of a first day. Some are on the last day or so of vacation and think it’s worth it. Some have been to Disney so often they don’t feel like they are missing anything.

I’m not sure I would do it, but I don’t think people are insane for doing this, though.

I just checked (9:30 am local) and MDE is posting 270 min for SDD & 70 min for Saucers. I did not yet check Lines App.

I think this will be more the norm, long time for SDD & much shorter for the other. Many are posting theyre getting thru in much less than posted times to, so that's promising.

Almost 2 hours after opening and MK looks to be pretty good judging wait times-it took this long for even Mine Train to go over an hour.

The pictures are pure insanity .... in line past ABC Commissary just to get in to the land!?!

I am going in three weeks and honestly thinking about skipping DHS altogether now. Nothing in that land is worth the waits and I don't want to see lines of people all out in the main areas ... nor the behaviors it will bring. I just hope they are keeping the land safe ...

Seriously ... cute land with two new carnival rides .... people are spending half a day or more there? Disney kool-aid tasting good today.

#ToyStoryLand AT CAPACITY! Guests are now being queued in Pixar Place to enter the land. If you have FP+ passes in the land, you can skip the line! -Mobile Ordering not avalible at Woody's Lunch Box -Toy Story Meet and Greets going on in Pixar Place to make more room in TSL.

After the next couple days I'd anticipate Alien Saucers being around 60 min. And I'd anticipate Slinky to be around 120+ min. At least until Star Wars opens up next year, but I still don't think TSL will drop much even then.
