We are planning a trip next year from the Saturday before to the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We will do 2-3 days onsite at Universal and the rest at Disney. I've read a lot of advice that you should end with Universal as it is more relaxing. However, I know crowds at all parks will get heavier as the week goes by at all parks. Does it still make sense to follow that recommendation or would some other plan make sense based on the crowds and the new Harry Potter areas?

Any other Thanksgiving suggestions from those just returning?

I'm posting this on both US & DIS forums to get both perspectives. Thanks for your help.

You will definitely have much larger crowds the two days after Thanksgiving on staying onsite will help with the crowds. Early entry for Diagon Alley has not been announced yet but I expect onsite guests will receive it when the time comes. You'll know in the summer once its open.
