Any fellow Canadians going to WDW over Thanksgiving?

It is a great time to go. Unfortunately, I have to wait until Thanksgiving 2014. Is it too early to start the countdown?;)

but there are no DVC accomodations available for us :(

We waited too long to plan. It is getting harder and harder to book any kind of last minute trip, even 6 months in advance. lol But good for Disney that they are busy and nice that more people are getting to enjoy the magic. :)

We went over thanksgiving last year. It's an awesome time to go. Have fun!

I'm looking at going the weekend before and staying until Thanksgiving monday. We had planned to be in FL over the Christmas holidays but it looks like that won't happen....shame that work gets in the way of my life:rotfl2:. Right now my hold back for booking Thanksgiving is that my DD will be in gr.9 and would be missing 4 days of school. She is a very good student but my concern is that because it's so close to the start of the year will she still be getting settled and would this disrupt her too much? I just don't know.

Just to make it even harder to decide....DH has a free dining PIN. :rolleyes1

I'm in the exact same position! My daughter starts highschool and I thought 4 days of school wouldn't be too bad, but then we have the free dining PIN!!!
We are thinking of the Oct 11-19! :)

We went last year but the weather was pretty bad. The night we went to MNSSHP was rained out. We are hoping for a do over this year but still have to get the OK from DH.

My DD's school is semestered so that's really the problem. 4 days really equals 6 or 7 in terms of the work load. I talked with her about it today and she's just not sure that she can take those days off.

We were going to go 7-17th but when the free dining pin came out we moved it to 18th (day fd starts) to get the fd. Didn't want to pass that up and going by Oct. 2 (last day of fd offer) wasn't possible. We land in Orlando the 15th for SW and shopping then move over to POR.

If you wanted to use your fd pin wouldn't that mean you couldn't go during Thanksgiving?
