We usually go to WDW staying at BWV on the weeks after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas. We are considering going in '07 the week of Thanksgiving. I need some honest feedback on how crowded it really is, should we try it, are all the Christmas activities running, etc. We are use to having very little wait times and not a lot of crowds so we're just not sure about the holiday week. Any first hand input would be appreciated! Tricia

If you want short lines, don't go during Thanksgiving. We have been to WDW the past two Thanksgivings. Wed and Thurs have always been packed, and I would guess that Fri and Sat after Thanksgiving would be crowded, too. The parks open a little later, but if you are used to small crowds, I would not recommend this week. Go the following week as you have in the past.

We go that week because of school holidays and longer park hours. We don't mind the crowds, but we don't go on many rides either. Have fun planning!

It was our first trip and Monday & Tuesday at MK & Epcot wasn't bad, I thought the night we went to Epcot was really uncrowded, it was cold, so no problem getting a good spot for Illuminations. MK at night we basically walked right on at POC. We skipped the parade, which people were staking their spots early. We went for the rides this time.

Now Thanksgiving day at AK was a mess, I don't think they really took all that stroller traffic into the layout in the Africa section. There were moments when I thought I can't move I am boxed in with slow moving people with those giant Disney strollers.

We're going again in 07, but leaving for WDW a day earlier to beat the crowds. I think we may just skip the parks on TG, hopefully the weather will be warmer.

The Friday after Thanksgiving is crazy too. I have read that it really thins out starting the Sunday after that. We will never to Thanksgiving again. Not enjoyable for us.

It is crowed; really, really, really crowded. We use to go the week after Thanksgiving, which is a little lighter.

But if you have issues any issues what-so-ever with lack of "personal space", I would stay clear during Thanksgiving.

We went Tues before TDay to the Tues after T-Day in '05. Tues before T-Day crowds were moderate... the day before to the day after (Wed - Fri) it was very very crowded. Sat after T-Day was moderate again and the Sun and Mon the crowds were very lite.

If you travel to Disney duing lite and moderate times and see the closed condiment serving areas and wondered if they evr get used ...... well they are completly full and open at T-Day. I waited longer in line for ketchup then I did for a hamburger at MK. :rotfl2:
