We will be there over Thanksgiving for the first time this year. I'm skeptical about having our Thanksgiving meal at a Disney restaurant. The only ADR I could get that day is for the Brown Derby, which I understand will have their regular menu as well as some traditional Thanksgiving options. But it's pretty pricey, especially since two of our kids are not considered kids anymore....

We've used Garden Grocer before for standard groceries - do they or other delivery services have a pre-cooked option for holidays? Anyone have such a service you'd recommend?

Listening in for possible 2017 thanksgiving trip. Also, what about cooking dishes/utensils in DVC kitchens? Are the right things there to be able to cook a turkey?

There isn't a turkey roaster. But usually the local grocery stores have turkey dinners that they sell - frozen (or semi-frozen), cooked turkey (so you still have to thaw it) and heat it up. You could buy one of those disposable aluminum pans for that. Usually the dinner includes mashed potatoes, maybe sweet potatoes or yams, dressing (usually corn bread), dinner rolls, a vegetable and maybe a dessert. We ordered Christmas dinner from Goodings many years ago while it was still a nice store. But both Publix and Winn-Dixie should offer the same. But they might be closed on the holiday, so you have to pick it up at least the day before.

We will not have a car - do any of the grocery delivery options have the pre-cooked feast? Anyone try any of that you'd recommend?

WeGoShop shops from your list. And you pick the store. I have been impressed with them. We have used them 4 times and doing so again in January.
GardenGrocer was fine, but so limited on what they have.

Seems like a lot of people have food delivered. But you could also use Uber to get to a store and do the shopping yourself. Although, this would take away from Disney time.

Thanks all for the tips! If we end up doing a grocery delivery for other items, I will ask about pre-cooked holiday meal options.

I used Garden Grocer last week. The last two times we have used them (once for Thanksgiving), they didn't deliver items for which we had paid. Bell Services at Kidani suggested that WeGo Shop would probably be a better choice.
