I'm not sure if I can make it happen, but does anyone have any good rates for Nov 26-Dec 1??
I would like to stay at Animal Kingdom.. Thanks

Those are our exact dates! No, I don't think a lot of people got good rates at that time.

We are staying at WL (woods view). Nov 26 and 27th were blacked out for AP rates (as well as FL res). Nov 28 and 29th I am also paying rack. Nov 30 (MVMCP!!!) I did get the AP rate (it's sunday and most people will be leaving). So, I am paying 244.20 (with tax) for 4 nights and $130 or so for the last night.

I was on the phone the morning the AP rates were released. I got through right at 7 and was not on hold at all.

My mom was able to get a FL res rate for the last two nights (29th and 30th), BUT she has to switch rooms- from a standard to a courtyard, so even the savings is not great ($199 rack for standard and then $150 or or so for courtyard),plus having to move which I wouldn't have done.


What I would do if you want to go is just call a see what they do have (for the last three nights). If nothing is available and you don't want to pay for a deluxe, try a mod. I know it's a lot of $$$, but we are all paying big $$$ that weekend.

we have AP rate on 11/28-12/6 approx 79.00 per night

Hi - A friend of mine just booked the Dolphin at $129 a few days ago. The Swan was also available at a very reasonable price (I think it was $149 but not sure).

Congratualtions on getting POR at the 79 rate!

If we were more flexible we probably could have gotten something, BUT we have family going with us and three rooms is just to much to change around with so little availability.

I forgot about Swan/Dolphin!

We have good rate for AKL Nov26-Nov29th. DH is a reservist and we got $119 standard. I am keeping track on how full the resorts are, and AKL seems booked when I try the Disney site. The only option those days was an Allstar! When I just put in your dates there was NOTHING on property available. If you don't already have the reservation you may be out of luck. But things will open up as it gets closer and people cancel. Maybe S&D has rooms.

I called when the AP rates opened up for November-December. I was able to get the Wilderness Lodge on the 30th, but was sold out the 28th & 29th. For those 2 days, I was able to get the Caribbean Beach for $88/night (w/tax). I have been trying weekly since making the original reservations to try and get the 28th & 29th at the WL, so I would not have to switch resorts, but have been told repeatedly that the WL was completely sold out (with or without discounts) for both those days. I tried again today and was told that the WL was still sold out and he could not find any AP rates at any of the other resorts for those days. He did tell me that they had a studio available at the VWL for $256/night. I passed and kept the CBR room.

If you have AAA, check to see if the AKL is available with that discount.
