We are considering going over Thanksgiving this year. Leaving on Tues. and returning on Sunday. Is this a terrible time to go? :confused3

Not trying to discourage you, but expect crowds especially Thursday to Sat. We are going over the same time and are planning to get there early, enjoy the Christmas decorations, and relax. It will be fun, but it's going be busy!

We were there last year over Thanksgiving. Got there Tuesday afternoon and came home Monday morning. Went to parks Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sat. Went to Downtown Disney Sunday and then back to MK for MVMCP. Wednesday (Epcot) and Thursday (AK) were tolerable but Friday at MK was probably the most crowded I've ever seen it. Then Saturday at MGM was also tolerable. I would probably go again around that time, though. The decorations were beautiful and MVMCP was awesome. In a perfect world, we could go the first of December, but with a child in school, that's just not feasible. So I say GO AND ENJOY!!!

The last two years, Saturday after was tolerable at AK and Sunday began low crowds everywhere.

You will LOVE the decorations - just beautiful!

That is our FAVORITE time to go! The weather is awesome, and yes,you can still swim. The decortations are gorgeous, and as always, there's going to be crowds.I think it's well worth it! :wizard:
