Thanksgiving week.....

I just tried to change our reservation to a 2 bedroom at SSR or OKW and neither are available for the week of Thanksgiving!! I actually think I would prefer my original travel dates of Friday Nov 26th- Sunday Dec 5th but am now worried that the change of resort for those dates might not happen either. Oh what to do, what to do.

Stay where you are, don't jeopardize the entire trip just to change rooms, you will love it no matter where you are

Oh I agree that BLT would be great but DH is not thrilled about changing resorts mid-trip. My In-laws have decided to stay on for longer and stay with us which we would love since our DD would have her grandparents all to herself. A 2 bedroom is necessary if we are all going to do this. I am sure they would stay until the 5th if I can secure a 2 bedroom but BLT requires way too many points for that so I am looking elsewhere. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yesterday, We booked our first trip as new DVC owners for Thanksgiving week. Because Thanksgiving is a hard time to get at the 7 month window, our guide asked me to give him a list of a few resorts we would like, and he said that he would help us get something. From what I understand, Disney gives the guide a little leeway to help new members with their first reservation. We didn't get our first choice which was BLT but we got our second choice, BCV 2BR.

Just waitlist for the whole thing to come through. You are allowed two waitlists, so that will cover both SSR & OKW. I think one of them will come through for you. If not, you have your original reservation at your home resort as a back up. Good luck!

Not complaining but it would be nice to have it come through. We have 10 days at BCV and are waitlisted at Kindani for the 23rd of Nov. to the 26th. Yep I get it is Thanksgiving but who knows maybe enough people currently booked there are trying for somewhere else??????

Anyone else waiting for Kindani??????

I was able to get two studios at Jambo, savannah view but opted to waitlist for a two bedroom at Kidani.

None of the resorts had the full week available in a two bedroom. I called at the seven month window, 9am.

Update: I called and changed the first 7 nights of our stay to a 2 bedroom at SSR. We begin the day after Thanksgiving so I was surprised. Now I will call for the next 2 days to see if I can change the last 2 nights as well.

BLT will have to wait until next year!

Try AKV. Split the rooms. get a 1br and a studio? could be close by? never know??

We are very anxious as we wait for the BCV for our son's wedding at the wedding Gazebo (Y.C.) on 11/22/2010. We were able to book them into the BWV until then. We (the fam) will be at our home resort at WLV for now while we are waitlisted. I have never been so anxious about being waitlisted. Of course our priority is the Bride and Groom!

The Bride and Groom have the BCV for the first half of the stay. We are now waitlisted for a 2 bdrm BWV and BCV. Hope it comes through!
